I Have A Problem With My Sound.

Everything is fine when its precaching and everything else but when i'm done loading the sound disappears. I don't hear anything but shooting and walking no music. When people talk i can't hear them on ns. And everything outside of ns is also muted.

Is there anyway to fix this?
My Sound Card is = Sound Blaster Audigy 2

    Is your config scripted in anyway? (Perhaps a sound-blocker script gone wrong?)

    Is that "all other non-NS programs stop making sound when I'm in NS" or "all other games are effected when I play them".
    Check anyway, especially steam-based games.

    Sorry I have no specific solutions. Someone's bound to post saying to update your drivers, but it's not very likely to fix your problem. Worth investigating nonetheless.

    Lol, update your drivers (if possible).

    Ive got an audigy 2 and have no such problems (last updated drivers a couple months ago).

    Try fiddling with the sound menu, change to low/high detail, turn on 3d sound and such, and make sure the volume is up.

    Check the console for any warnings or anything, and look around your control panels or speaker settings to look for anything that may be amiss.

    No music could be music volume, corrupted files, or crazy software, only one of those is easy to fix....
