<div class="IPBDescription">how do i reasearch??</div> I've been playin this for a little while now and i wanna try being a commander....I get the building concept and ordering but how do i reasearch??

u research tech by selecting the buildings u built, usually they have extra upgrade options but they cost rps.

for example:

armory -> advance armory for heavy weapons.
turret fact-> advance turret fact so u can build siege cannons.

also,

arms lab-> weapon/armour upgrade levels up to lvl 3 each.
(note that asking your team to 'use' the structures while researching SPEEDS up the researcch bar so if some player tells u the armory is 'spoilt' tell em to 'USE' it while waiting for the upgrade to finish)

thats not all, a couple more structures have extra upgrades. u just have to click them and read their descriptions to learn more about it.

Don't forget that with the exception of the armory, soldiers can "use" the structure to speed up the upgrades. Don't forget that you need to build that turret factory again after it's been upgraded.

No! Marines can't use buildings to speed up upgrades. Or if they can, they shouldn't be able to. It's a bug... (Have you seen evidence of upgrades actually speeding up, or just sparks flying?)
