<div class="IPBDescription">Is It Difficult ? (Attempting It Soon)</div> Ok here's the deal:
At the weekend a friend of mine filmed alot of footage of me and my friends at a local fair type thing. Today I got thinking that maybe I could somehow transfer that footage from her camcorder thingy to my pc and then convert the footage and burn it to a DVD.
So... Is this kinda thing easy? She's bringing the camera here soon for me to take a look at along with any wires/connectors etc. (I think it's a Sharp Viewcam and quite new.)
Anyone here attempted such a feat and have any knowledge that maybe helpful?
Thanks.

you can connect the camcorder to your firewire connector and select record from the file menu. You can then use the camcoder using the buttons on screen. And record anything you want (self explainatory really)
Now if you have another program (pinacle, premiere or the likes) you have an even better program to use. To compress it I would use virtual dub, a freeware program you can find on the internet.
It really isn't hard to do all this <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile-fix.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile-fix.gif' /><!--endemo-->
