<div class="IPBDescription">I really think she's one of the greats</div> Today was amazon.com's tenth anniversary, and they had a special event for all of the employees, which they broadcasted on the site. (I'm interning at amazon.)

Norah Jones performed. I don't know if it was because I had just eaten the perfect amount of really satisfying food, or because I had just had a glass of wine, or because she's just amazing, but as I was sitting there listening, I just started remembering every peaceful beautiful moment of my life.

I've got her studio recordings on my computer, and I've always liked them passively. Nice things to turn on when I'm in a quiet mood. But I don't think until now that I had every really sank into them. I just love the way her voice is so thick and light at the same time, and the way the instrumentals throw in hints of melody like light on water.

I'm convinced. I think she's one of the greats, and I think we will still be listening to her in fifty years.

Yeah, my computer just died, completely, no bios beep, and a lot of the components are probably fried, but you know what? I'm still in a good mood, cause I keep remembering that Norah Jones concert.
