Again =\
Ok so this has been happening for a while now.. After x ammounts of minutes I am no longer able to open any programs. When I try to open something the hourglass will pop up like it's about to open but it won't and then the hourglass will go away after a few seconds as if the program is open. The only thing that I have been able to open when this problem occurs is My Computer.. but even through that I can't open any programs. I can't even shut down the computer via the start menu. If I just sit and wait the program will eventually open after about 20-30 minutes or so. Thanks in advance for all the help.

    That actually sounds pretty severe... Best thing to do Is to run a virus check, good luck with that.

    how much ram do you have, how much spare room is on your hard drive, and how large is your pagefile?

    it might be that your memory is filling up and there just isnt enough memory to do anything else after working for a while.

    check your pagefile by rightclicking on mycomputer>proerties>advanced tab>preformance settings>advanced and it should say at the bottom how many mb your pagefile, or virtual memory is.

    I had the same problem. Download a program called Xoftspy and it'll run a scan.

    ( http://www.xoftspy.co.uk/ )

    If the scan results return nasty stuff then PM via these forums and i'll send you the info you need to remove the problem.
