1.If you enter commander mode with a trip mine out it will draw it as a addative over your entire commandeer veiw, animated to your mouse clicks and all. Easily reproduced
2.Occured on a listen server but not sure if it would cause any overhead in a real dedicated, a user that went into spectator mode and clipped out of the level would lag the listen server host machine and the rest of the game. Easily reproduced
3.On occasion in commander mode an building will lose focus and you have to reclick it to get options or build, slightly annoying. Occasional occurance, not sure how to trigger it
4.have had right click option menus freak out, have the tree of options not display right and be unclickable. to click it you had to manually type + or - for the function to enter and exit it. have not been able to reproduce it since it happend the one time
IMHO the freelook should be ran WITH clipping similar to how q3 handles it, as if you even touch outside the level you will get horrendous visual lag to the point it is hard to navigate away. A freind mentioned he has never even seen freelook when he was dead, and i dont have this prob in observer mode, so it might be entirely possible that it was a bug that i had freelook in the firstplace.. This isnt a bug by any means its just annoying.
also with the awsome particle effects this mod can do (ive meessed with the map kit befor release alot) why not make the grenade explosions a little less halflife. I just think the entire mod is so well packaged when i see that effect it just ruins the illusion, even more so thinking about the cloud effects many aliens have and how cool it would be to have a more unique explosion that left a slight haze.
I love this mod so far. It is amazing that it was all done using halflife, and it shows that alot of talent when into making it. Considering most of my CS junkie friends are so unwilling to try change, the fact that I got them to play and keep playing NS shows me its overall appeal. Not to put any ill remarks twards cs, but its originality was never there. This is by far the best mod i have seen that is not only original but stable and fun. Its hard to belive that the first release was so well made, and that a patch less than a week later came out making it better. Love the dedication
