    Public service announcement: users whose username contains certain characters such as "!" <i>cannot</i> use PM functions normally. This is one of several known bugs Cagey is working on.

    Wouldn't that have to do with a combination JAVA + SQYL language interface?

    *shrugs* Just seems the, logical, place at which to begin.

    Hi!, I'd recommend you re-register with the name HIgh or something <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    I don't have the background to know what he's poking around with. My assumption is that the UWE frontend adds an extra layer of complexity.

    IPB uses PHP and MySQL, so no this shouldn't be an issue.

    I'm guessing its a problem somewhere between the NS guys customizations and the way IPB assembles the user id looked from when it parses the username from a PM.
