It's not even remotely humorous to me. These sorts of games ruin it for all of us decent gamers. Just like Islam extremists (terrorists) ruin it for the majority of decent Muslims out there.
I normally defend violent games by saying that the player should play at his sole discretion, unless under the age of 18, where the parents should have a say in the matter. But this game is such an insult to human decency - it should be buried in the desert along with that junky E.T. game.
Disgusting.

A little bit of the latter: you're paying more attention to the regular stupidity in the world because it's striking closer to home.
As much as I can barely restrain my raw hate towards racism, censorship isn't the right step to take. However, idiots like these will end up bringing about censorship for reasons that don't need to be explained here. The best we can do is distance ourselves from them, but unfortunately that probably won't be good enough to prevent a crackdown on our beloved industry.
Personally I think the graphics are a bit sub-par but the plot line is rather coherent and that certainly puts a few points in its corner.
It's kind of like that Kennedy assassination simulator all over again.
"Resistance" has rung the doorbell, and the media is about to step on the flaming bag of ... Nastyness.
But i'm quite sure that it will either be forgotten as either a biggot's attempt to grab attention, or shut down by local governments... or both. The population that's around you can choose to let you speak your mind, and can just as easilly choose to censor you.
Be it by court order or by molotov cocktail.
And it's graphics are crap.
It is amazing how people grow calloused to these types of things, but we do have to be careful how we become numb. It isn't bad shooting demons in Doom since it is "doing the right thing" for a lot of gamers that believe in God, in example. Inasmuch, to believers of the National Socialist way killing minorities in cleansing the world is "doing the right thing." This is an example of the very close yet very distant boundary that I speak of.
In no way do I condone this game. However, in respect to the freedom of press this is a media that can be used to communicate ideas and cannot be censored. I can take some comfort in knowing that this title will have a hard time finding shelves to be stocked on, or a decent publisher. You have a right to boycott this game, but it has to be considered a threat to national security to be censored.
...oh yeah.

(Ironic thought... perhaps we should throw this title into the fire much like a certain party did with books in the 1940's.)
Racists are entitled to their beliefs. As long as they don't hurt anyone, they should be allowed to practice whatever beleifs they wish.
If some people think that there are truths presented in the game... Like I said, whatever. Their beliefs are their beliefs. Nobody has any right to tell them that they can't believe something.
I believe in free speech for everyone. Not just people with beliefs that agree with mine. There is absolutely no reason to censor this game. People who think it's disgusting just plain won't buy it. To censor it would be to deny someone their right to create and distribute art, and that is wrong.
