I need help using it...
Okay, so some of you may know, i moved across the US not to long ago, and well i started to go out and meet people. I met this girl, larua... We've been seeing each other for quite some time now, and well... It may be getting serious... Im not fond of using the love word, and well... Im not to sure if love is the best word right now to discribe my feelings for her.
Is there another word, much like "love" that can be said, something with sophistication, im not sure, if this was the best idea, coming here and posting like this... But you guys never let me down before...
This is really driving me crazy... We've been talking for like 8 days stright, from 12pm(When i wake up) till 4am(When she goes to bed), we've got to two concerts, shes met my parents... I mean, i really really like her, and i just want to express that, i just dont know how... And love is to clingie/early to say right now.

That's what love is in a "scientific" nutshell
Seriously though... there's plenty of phrases you could probably use 'fond of you, like you a lot, feel that we're close, etc'
Sounds to me like you're scared of frightening her off with the 4 letter word ^^
Edit: Don't actually say this.
Heh... lol...
Ya, keep commiting...
I'd just say something like, "I'd like to stay with you longer."
Simple, short. Let her know you want to keep the relationship going, etc. Course, I've had about as much luck with the fairer sex as the coyote has had catching the roadrunner. Take that as you will...
I less than three you!
or folow Dubb with "Gimme some sugar baby!"
Naw, i dont want to scare her away when i barley really met her... Like i said its only been a few weeks... We've talked our selves crazy, and done quite a bit together...<--... and well, its still to early for me.
1) Tell her yah ****en tool.
2) just let your actions speek for your self.
If you act your self and let your true emotions out she will get the general impression (unless she is as dense as I am, and those poeple are not all that common).
btw, are you actualy going out?
works better with a train nearby

LOL in waycross you cant get away from the trains, theres like a million of them, thats really funny u say taht...
And Thansal... Well... Its hard to explain what we've got, i wouldnt say were going out, we just go out... Get my drift?
And its not like im trying to get laid, its already happened...
You don't have to use the "love" word to express love. There are other words, other ways.
My gf doesn't like me using the word because of its power, or maybe it's too contrite in a society like this. But she knows and I knows that we like each other very much.

As you can see, the above sentence points out, that the concept of love is flawed. This is why i can only give you the following advice: "Go Hormons Go"
Maybe this is an idea and reason for you

Not so. The first three could have just been mistakes. Love ain't a flawed concept - it's often just flawed in its execution.

We also have ways in Japanese to say "I love you" without actually saying "I love you."

Or tell her you like her.
AAAAaaaaaawww! Romantically nerdy! Brings a tear to my eye. Or it would if I had the ability to cry.
