Problem With New Nvidia Drivers And Refresh Rates

<div class="IPBDescription">I'm out of ideas</div> Recently, I found that Nvidia released new drivers for the Geforce cards (I have a Geforce 4 MX 440 AGP). I downloaded it and installed it without a problem. I should mention now that my default settings are 1024x768, 32-bit, 85 Hz refresh rate. No vsync.

However, as soon as I started up NS, the screen flickered into a much lower refresh rate. I alt-tabbed and went back in. Now, the screen is wider than my monitor's settings (parts of the image are cut out), while the refresh rate is still much lower. I didn't have this problem before I installed the new drivers.

    Put -freq 85 in HL1s Launch Options field. And, of course, doublecheck your Video settings in the NS Options menu. Launch Options should look something like this.

    Oh yeah, sorry about that. I haven't used any other boards besides Off-Topic for a while.

    Thanks, by the way. The new drivers didn't have a "Refresh rate overrides" option.
