<div class="IPBDescription">And not go off Rambo-style</div> In all the games I've played so far, I've been Commander for the whole duration, or take over when the current Commander leaves.

If you Commanders don't want to be bothered with trying to hunt down one marine that's run off on his own and ran out of ammo, try this:

Right when the game starts, tell your troops that you'll be watching over the guys that stick together as a team more than the ones that run off Rambo style. A bunch of them will run off anyway, but don't worry about them, focus on the guys that are helping you out/contributing to the team.

Sure, you'll be getting bugged for ammo/health and getting called a n00b for about 3 minutes, but most players (in my experience) stop running off on their own when they realize you're not going to help them much.

Typically, I can get my guys working together in securing areas and whatnot relatively quickly by ignoring the ones that want to rush in on their own.

A vote to kick me out hasn't gone through yet, but I'm sure it will someday. However, if you focus on the marines that are working together, they won't vote to eject you.

Well...if it works a lot let me know, I would like a foolproof way to keep my men together. I love dropping them a bunch of HMGs and HA and then see half of them wander off alone and die. Never helps when I go...Well, you know I could give you that gear again but now I'm broke because I gave it to you last time and you wandered off alone and died.

It's been working for me about 80% of the time, so I'd say it's been successful so far. Of course, I've also had the good fortune to have 1 or 2 really good marines working for me that can help rally the troops.
