There are around 70-90 people playing at a given time lately, the server is compatible with the .91 version of Infantry right now, squads are not 100% functional which is fine right now.

The current zones available are: Chamberts Moon, Twin Peaks, Hockey Zone and Arena.

Warzone Alpha will be available when there are roughly 200 people playing at any given time. Yes this community is already larger than SOE's fallen one, that is the intended outcome. Infantry will be restored to its former glory, take part in it.

What is Infantry?

Infantry is a massive futuristic multiplayer online wargame that weaves the best elements of realtime strategy, 3d shooters and down and out GungHo into an exciting, racey and immensely flexible game engine that is capable of producing a variety of grossly different gametypes but all equally enjoyable.

The game features a classing system with a wide array of weapons (all perfectly viable, mind you).

Chamberts Moon is a KOTH style game with teams of up to 6, both public and private on a large map. Vehicles and alien classes are also available in this zone, with a multitude of weapons in comparison to Twin Peaks.

Twin Peaks is a two team, four flag CTF zone, two Hill Flags and 2 randomly placed flags. Grab the flags and take them home to your base, which can be anywhere on the map and outfitted with various turrets and mines. Hold all the flags for 90 seconds and win.

These two zones are the most popular and its best to make a new alias for each classed character you make so you may actually progress.

I remember a long time ago this thing getting a "Free Game of the Month", and being described as "Wonderful", "A Joy to Do Combat in" and many others. I never got a chance to try it. Thankies!

I used to play this myself; I was hooked!

It's an absolutely great lil game.... sorta like a multiplayer commandos but faster-paced and with controls that aren't as horrible :p

Considering you people play Natural Selection I'd say you all have really bad taste in games so I wouldn't want to pressure anyone into playing an actual <b>good</b> game.

Personally, this is my favorite game of all time.

I thought I would share it here so that word will spread to the more pathetic yet numerous corners of the Internet and that I may soon play WZA.

I suppose if anyone here enjoyed Subspace and its universe... the best way to describe this game is the ground war of Subspace.

I refuse to play this game, as I'm a very old school Subspace player, and played this before it got bought from Harmless Games and fux0red by sony. Sony ruined it. Take any fun you might have playing, and x10000. Thats how fun it used to be.

it honestly started sucking before soe bought it from harmless games.

on the note of harmless games

does any oen have a copy of their logo? (the bear with the tnt and lighter?) I friken loved that thing, but they toped existing after soe bough inf.

I just added 10 screenshots to the OP after trying to find more of the epic battles on the streets, but the game had just ended so most people were in the dropship.

going by the names, im guessing the average player age is 11.

Clearly, you are mistaken.

Besides, no 11 year old is skilled enough or has the attention span long enough to play such a skill oriented game.
