Connecting Problems

<div class="IPBDescription">couldn't connect, now NS is "gone"</div> My son was running NS, then we moved and had only dial up for about four months, we finally got DSL, and when my son tried to play he kept getting a "maps" error.... So I read FAQ and forums posts and figured I would reinstall stream, after deleting the NS and the other folder. I have reinstalled it, now NS is missing from steam....

Anyways, could someone tell me what I have to do to getNS up and running again (and get my son off my back)? lol

NS doesn't come with Steam so if you uninstalled Steam you will need to reinstall both Steam and NS.

<a href='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90801' target='_blank'>Here is a simple, step-by-step guide to installing NS.</a> Follow the instructions and if it doesn't work, post again. I'm sure you'll find that the guide will help.

Also ensure you've installed the correct version of NS. We are currently playing NS3.0 Final (client).
