In these times of hot, fast strolling ghosts walking their dogs, we can't afford to fall out over puritan dress, people! Pull it together! <i>Or else they've already won.</i>
a) People today dress like that, and are not puritans.

The strange thing about transparent ghosts is how they are always only kind of transparent. For example, their clothes are transparent, but you can't see the skin underneath. It's as if the ghost was only a thin, empty shell.
By the way, CF says he took this picture with a digital camera. I've never heard of digital cameras that double-expose.
But nevertheless, I must assume that this is fake. It's more probable.

To me it looks as if the trail coming out of the "ghost's" head is actually that person's head as they walked into frame on a long exposure. They simply stood still at the spot we see until the exposure ended. The angle of the trail can be explained by perspective. It's also curious that the dog doesn't have a shadow... I would assume it is too difficult to get even a well trained dog to run into view at the right time and freeze at a specific point for the rest of the exposure's duration.

Not only can you see her hair move as she walks away from the camera, but you can also see where the shadow on the trees is slightly lightened by her dress as she moves. The dogs are of course lighter because they're not going to stand still for as long. Also, the fact that although we have one primary light source off to the right of the picture, there are at least 3 other areas in the picture that are bright enough to qualify as one, in fact, every area of sky in the picture is far, far too bright. And last but not least, the speckles over the darker areas of the picture. I had a digital camera that broke and took nothing but long exposures, every picture turned out looking a lot like that one, especially with the little white speckles all over it.
Also, his story is completely fake. We all know CForrester never goes outside.

If one is to have died and dressed like that, I would assume she/he/it would be a puritan, as that is how it was common to dress said children in said era I quoted. 1800s - 1900s.
However, the entire puritian movement began in england in the late 1400's the left for the "new world" in the 1700's. <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
thats not the point, in no way, the point is, you say that he takes it offtopic, when you helped him do it, therefor making it double moral
By the way, CF says he took this picture with a digital camera. I've never heard of digital cameras that double-expose.
But nevertheless, I must assume that this is fake. It's more probable.
if it's not a ghost then it must be the same field in 2 different times. <!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
I am going with the ghost example, which would mean if she had died, I am narrowing it down.
<b>Obviously tycho you have some serious issues keeping up with topics, (inference).</b> <!--QuoteEnd--> </td></tr></table><div class='postcolor'> <!--QuoteEEnd-->
ok i dont know if i actually should start reading posts, but that just kinda sounded like keeping topics on track, and then some stupid word i dont know the meaning of
hmmm yeah thats kinda weird, wouldnt ghosts like be the same?
BEcause it's not a double exposure, it's a long exposure. the movement trail of the woman is a dead giveaway.
Am I the only one who can see shadows from the dogs?

Case...closed.
rape! cf tried to rape a ghost!
anywho.... have fun with your little hoax there guy... i shouldnt have opened this thread up in the first place... much less read as much of it as i did...
You: That looks like someone from 1800-1900, going by their clothing.
Tycho: Nah, people wear those kind of clothes today.
You: But if it's a ghost, it has to be from the past right?
[though, what if one of the people tycho has seen walked across that field or died on it or something? Then it'd be a ghost, and it wouldn't be from that time period. -ed. note]
Doesn't look like he's more offtopic than anyone else.
And I still don't see what's so scary about it.
CF had killed the very same woman the previous day.

Heh, it's actually a backpack with a special pouch that contains a water reservoir and a small pipe that comes out of a hole near the top of the pack and ends in a bite valve.

That doesn't explain the hair, though... It was actually dyed. Dark blonde/brown and purple.

If I had to guess, I'd say that it's just an image of what they looked like at some point... So perhaps what is under the clothing is not recorded, only what is visible to other people. So none of you jerks can accuse me of trying to rape a ghost. ;P

Hydration packs are common amongst hikers, cyclists, and even ultra-marathoners. The pictured CamelBak is one of the more popular.
A hydration pack is "a pack that hydrates", so why is the phrase dumb?
