Variables?

<div class="IPBDescription">make life easier</div> Do there exist certain veriables such as %l (for location) ?

Example:
Someone screams for help, but you dont know where he is. So screaming for help is mostly pointless. But what if you cud bind a key to the message "say_team Help needed at %l". This way you just have to hit the key and everyone is informed.

Do such variables exist? If so wheres the list?

NO need. Hold right click, move it down as far as it will go. You will say "Enemy here," and the commander hits spacebar and goes to your position.

The commander has enuff to do. I want to address to other marines.

Anyway, dont ask for the USE just tell me if there are such variables.

It'd be better for the Aliens.

Commander scrolls to his main battle group, hits space , and plops down a waypoint.

Anyway, if you are off on your own, you're gonna get eaten anyway, and if you are in a big group, the commander will be looking over your shoulder for the sake of keeping his high-RP investment squad alive.

Since people seem to be incapable of answering the question, no they don't exist, and yes, they would be immensely useful.

Heh, that's a matter of opinion.
Last game on a 30 man server, some n00b ran off by himself.
    Next thing you know:
"Help! Help me! I'm at the [location] and need help!"
When it was realized that we had no structures worth protecting there and it was just him, we simply pointed fingers and laughed at him. <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->

Exactly - you knew you had nothing there because you knew where he was. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' valign='absmiddle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
