Nothing happened. Nem is still around, but not directly involved in NS anymore due to some very exciting RL commitments. I'm sure he'll pop in to say hi once he remembers that he's an internet nerd at hearth and checks his emails <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
( PS: Hi Nem <3 ( because you know he reads everything ) )
puzl, care to share what those commitments are? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
I do hope he pops in to say hi. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> Nem0 was one of my favourite mods.
yes, i guess the forums would really miss something without him
hopefully he will come back
and maybe if he does not have to time to fully commit his time as (*insert his position a year ago*) he could maybe still dedicate some time as moderator
i guess, if you like a game that much that you take such an important position you wont completely forget it
just my 2 cents <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/nerd-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="::nerdy::" border="0" alt="nerd-fix.gif" />

That's amazing. One day my grandchildren will ask me if I was ever a hero in my early days. And I'll tell them "No. But I posted on an internet forum with heroes."
(That joke blatantly stolen from someone, but hell if I can remember who.) But seriously, that's neat.
Zunni hasn't disappeared from the gaming scene, he's just moved to another project. I'm sure you've not seen the last of Zunni, just maybe in the world of NS.
I too, miss Nemo, but I miss others too, where's Merkaba been, or Ken20Banks, or Monse. I know some game studios snatched them up and other RL engagements, but I wonder what projects they've been on lately...

Thanks for the kind words, everyone. Especially you, Mojo <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
As for my current whereabouts, my university has recently created the first professorship on videogames in Germany (and continental Europe, as far as I know). I scored a student research job there. Right now, I'm drafting concepts for an edutainment title based on some rather interesting proprietary technology. It's fun, because it's about as far as a game project can be from NS, and so, I'm learning lots of new stuff. Apart from that, I've been editing a student newspaper for a year now, am trying hard to write the occasional article for <a href="http://www.gamerswithjobs.com" target="_blank">Gamers with Jobs</a>, and my other nerdy love - roleplaying - is also acting up. We're currently looking into renting a 400 m² castle for a LARP-convention. Apart from all this, there are also a few hobbies, neglectable things like, you know, studying or having meals on a regular basis. I'm keeping busy.
I'll do my best to look in on y'all on occasion, and will moderate stuff until an annoyed Marik revokes my access privileges. A NS developer doesn't leave. He fades away <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />
