Photoshop text question

How do you make text over any image / background, transparent, but clearly visable / identifiable? What's the trick?

    not a clue, but dont the photoshop help files tell you how to do that stuff?

    You have to fiddle with the blending mode settings of the layer. Default is Normal, but you can select different things like Screen, Overlay, Multiply from the dropdown menu and then experiment with the Opacity of it.

    That would be your best call if i'm guessing right what you are after.
