theres a demo out for dark messiah of might and magic, a pretty sweet game built on the source engine that im looking forward to.

    Yeah I played through the demo about 5 or 6 times using different specs and really enjoyed it.
    Anyone got a release date?

    It's ok, i guess, the combat is pretty satisfying and pretty much it's just a first person hack n slash game, take that how you will.

    It seems pretty limited though. What's on show appears to be pretty linear, and the skillset available is pretty abyssmal, really, and the size of the download is what really got me.

    1.4gb and you can get through the demo in about 5-10 minutes. Add in some time for playing with different skill sets (which is pretty limited) and you're pretty much not going to be playing this one all that long.

    If you buy magazines and it's on the cover disk, give it a shot, it's not all that bad, but it's a huge download for something that's really not all that great either.
