    Video made with ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> Do you used Fraps for recording ? ^^

    It's a cool video, but I don't like the " the one and only l33t r0><0r pgm l0l01010 !!11!! " theme :\ It's better when we see entire fights, until death ^^

    Except that ( and that's my own opinion ), that's a great video <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    Could you just tell me what soft you used to record and " compile " ? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

I got 2 Computers in my room for Programming/Graphic Design things.. I have a Video Capture Card on one of them so i just Record off the Svideo from the one I am playing it. It works very well..no slow down so i can give the game my all. lol

to compile i was lazy and opened Sony Vegas 6. But when my real video comes out Adobe Primere and After Effects will be involved in it.

Could only watch the first 30s.

I'll tell you what I tell most amateur video makers- <b>don't use niche music</b>.

You might love heavy metal, but a lot don't. That music is so "in your face" that it put me off checking out your editing skills. Your best bet is easy-listening dance music or music that relies on a steady beat to carry it. Of course it's just preference- I'm sure you'd get a nicer reception if you showed this to Kerrang fans- but you see where I'm going.

For what's it worth- I liked the intro where you show off the PC's animations.

1: The music makes the video pretty much unwatchable if you're not into the genre.
(Already been said, I know, but it's something that has to be put across.)

2: PvP is not the best theme for a WoW video... especially if you're in Arathi Basin!
Make PvP interesting by attacking Thunderbluff, the Undercity or Orgrimmar.
Arathi Basin = Boring, Alterac Valley = Boring, Warsong Gulch, Stranglethorn Vale,
    Tarren Mill... all Boring.

3: Take a look at the X-Fire World Of Warcraft video's "Channel"... what you've done
has been done 400 times before.... only... better.

4: The Blizzard combat text is terrible. The Scrolling Combat Text AddOn (that's been out for months)
    is so much better.
5: Why is there almost a full minute of blank footage at the end of the video?

Damn I really wanted to add some constructive critisism here but we've probably put you
    off film-making for life... sorry.

Keep making video's but put alittle more thought into them and their content and you'll be fine.

    Overall: 5 out of 10. 2 Marks removed for playing on "Easy Mode". (Alliance) <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
(I presume you're Alliance. It's hard to tell from the footage given but i'm pretty sure I saw you
get an honor kill with the word "Centurion" next to it.. which is a Horde rank.)

As far as music goes, my suggestion is to use "quirky" music (like Everybody was Kung Fu Fighting or Do the Hustle), people dont nit pick those and it gives the video a good air of freshness.

As for the PvP clips, I'd say they're fine. Myself, I enjoy a good mix of teamwork videos as well as solo videos, as for the location, it doesnt matter, the fight just needs to be good. <b>Note of Importance:</b> Not every clip needs to have you come out as the victor. There can be several where its an extremely close fight and you lose to a good opponent, <u>or</u> you get your face ripped off. It mixes the video up and the viewer doesnt assume you'll win every time. This really counts when you get in a fight 'against all odds' and come out on top - because they've seen clips of you losing before, they'll almost assume that you'll lose, and be honestly surprised when you actually win.

Editing. Subtle touches are always nice during the video. Blur effects when you get a nice string of crits as well as rarely used but well place slow motion keep the video interesting. If the video is long, segment it up by putting quirky or funny clips in between things (check out <a href="http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=10346" target="_blank">Tiz 4: Battles Remembered</a> as well as <a href="http://www.warcraftmovies.com/movieview.php?id=21836" target="_blank">Zalgradis Paladin PvP/Storyline 3</a> for <b>exellent</b> examples of editing during videos to keep things interesting. Tiz's video especially for the 'quirky music' aspect).

    Good luck! =)

I'm on 56k so can't watch any of it, but here's my comments.

First, drop the metal crap soundtrack, seriously, just because it's PvP it doesn't need music that will make you feel like your P is being VP'd all over your face.

Next up, you use too many cooldowns / pots / buffs / hidden healers, i'm sick of seeing <class> videos where it's obviously a team effort and not personal skill involved.

Also, that fight when you were attacking <class> with a weapon / spell was totally unfair, they were only in tier 0 and below and mashing them with a <purple weapon> just isn't fair, and it's obvious you're gonna win, no contest.

Finally, what UI mod was it that did <UI mod action>?

I'd rate it a possible 4/10 based on not having seen it.

EDIT: Ok, now i've actually seen most of it, so i'll comment properly.

It's not bad, i guess, but it's not good either, it's really generic, it's no different to any other warrior PvP video, and as mentioned before, it's been done a thousand times and a thousand times better. Sure, you can survive, but hey, if i was a warrior in epic plate with healer backups 2-3 shotting people with a spinal reaper, i'd be a survivor too. It's not even impressive in a "big numbers" way either, take a look at Pat's second video, it's edited just the same as yours, same style of music, but much bigger numbers. You've seen one, you've seen them all.

As for your addons, jesus tapdancing christ on a rusty unicycle, turn off SCT, or at least make it in any way watchable to see what's going on. Sure, you like playing like that, nobody can stop you, and nobody has the right to stop you, but if you expect people to watch your video, turn that crap off so we can actually see what's going on.

The music, as mentioned before, isn't all that great, you make no effort to edit around the music, and whilst metal is a type of music i like, it just seems unecessary. Just because it's PvP, it doesn't need punch-your-face-out-music, and what's more, there'll be people who'll whine about the music all the time, choosing something neutral is always a good idea.

And back to the editing, i'm getting sick of that whole "holy skulk A CRIT ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM" thing that people have got into the habit of doing. Try experimenting with editing, it can make the video a whole lot more entertaining to watch. Take Pathologist, a UD mage who's released about 3-4 videos, he's not all that great as a mage, but i've watched his videos over and over again. The combination of music like Aphex Twin with glitchy, well timed, editing makes for a very entertaining movie, in my eyes.

And as for locations, we all know that AB is a great way for farming honour, but give us a break, it's boring as all hell to watch. Epic'd out premade honour farming groups steamrolling pubbies isn't entertaining. Show us some world PvP, organised mass PvP against well geared people, 1v1, no healers, no buffs, show us some skill.

    Blegh.
