seem like 'really disgruntled girlfriend syndrome'. "Talk to me or I'll burn down your toolshed!" Personally I have doubts about North Korea's ability to launch a missle from Korea to California and to still have it on target. Especially since preliminary reports say the detonated weapon was most likely much less powerful than the bombs dropped in WW2 (...so they're apparently prepared to throw a tactical nuke attached to a missle at the US).
...I'm not a fan of US belligerence that seems to be propogating itself, but this is seems a bit worse that taking out Saddam and angering 1000s of Muslim extremists or bombing the crap out of Afghanistan, going "meh" and then bombing another country. Open nuclear threats shouldn't be tolerated in the international community.
I'm not really sure we need LA or San Fransisco anyway.
If ther should be a war it should be on American soil...

Now that's just plain silly.

And the American taxpayer should also pay for the transport costs of the invading army. This should be called The spooky menace. After which there will be an attack of lot's a people which look alike, then there is always one person out for revenge. Which in turn gives new hope. Once all of this is behind us, The taxpayers will strike back. With the return of a former president (preferebly Clinton, I like good ol'tubby)
On a more serious note:
N-Korea could be considered a rogue nation if they do threaten with war on the US (Nuclear or otherwise). But then again this also goes for the USA, for ignoring the international community when invading Irak (but that's a whole other subject so just ignore this last part <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />)
I just want to know if they (the N-Korean regiment) think it's wise to threaten one of the most powerfull countries on this planet, well right after the Dutch of course <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
If the USA is going to war (initially or provoked) I think they are going to have a hell of a time to take N-Korea. This ain't no desert where the M1A2 reins supreme. Jungle/urban combat is always the most tricky battlefield there is even if you have a technology advantage. That and I still don't think that China is going to like having the USA near their borders dispite what they say now about N-Korea
Can't we all be friends!!! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/confused-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="???" border="0" alt="confused-fix.gif" />
