Day 1/Night 1 post will start at 2pm Monday. Wolves roles have been past out. As soon as the wolves decide who to convert, human roles will be past out. Since this night is a NPC death, human roles will not work (guardian can't protect NPC, seer cannot look into a player, psychic... well... I hope the psychic can count).
Due to the reduced amount, there will be 2 starting wolves.
Day 2 will start on Tuesday 2pm. Because the human/wolves roles will not work in the first night, we'll just cut the second part of the night early, and get with Day 2.

I know your post didn't have anything to do with the game, but this also works as a general reminder.
So without ado... here's the story.
<!--sizeo:7--><span style="font-size:36pt;line-height:100%"><!--/sizeo--><b>PROLOGUE</b><!--sizec--></span><!--/sizec-->
The marines have won.
That is, humanity has survived against the attacks of the Kharaa. Several years have past since the first contact of these flesh-manipulating beasts and the triumphant marines have battled their way successfully in each counter. There were many lives lost, many places forsaken, but at the end, humanity stood tall and proud. The TSA has built many spaceships and train many soldiers to push back the horrors of terror. They have gain back many planets and spaceports that were lost in the first stages of the war. It won’t be long until the Kharaa plague will be contained, and then exterminated with extreme justice. Humanity will prevail! But unfortunately, the truth is much more darker…
~.~.~.~.~.~
In the outskirts of the TSA-controlled territory, a lone TSA spaceship slowly hovers over a landing pad, carved out from the bedrock. Beyond it is a metal plate door, several feet thick, able to withstand any TSA firepower, and Kharaa’s well-known acid attacks. On either side are two powerful twin-gatling cannons, pointing outward towards space ready to obliterate anything in its path. Right now, the ship is in its path, which is tries to thrust and tilt away, scraping the legs across the ground as metal screeches in protest.
“God dammit, that’s the third time that happened. Can anyone take over?” Corporal Torun looks irritated as he delicately fiddles around with the instruments in front of him.
“What do you think we run, a company here? There’s no shifts or breaks, or 8-hour jobs. You’re the only one qualified to run this forsaken tinbucket, so quit your whining and land this thing! And make it sometime today, before they shoot us down instead of waiting for us to land.” Lieutenant Dordon scowls, peering down behind Torun as he watches between his readouts and the screen, where the metal doors appear in front of the window.
Torun sighs internally, as he work with the controls. It’s always his job to transport troops around for the TSA, and nothing else. Due to his previous injuries and current health, he could not perform well in the battlefield, so TSA gave him a job that doesn’t require him to move much. After fiddling the controls for a few more minutes, there was a solid thud as the ship hits the ground and stops swaying back and forth. Torun quickly shuts down the thrusters, and turns to Dordon, saying, “Ship is landed, sir.”
Dordon nods with approval. “Get the men thawed out of cryosleep and get them to move in. We got a long day ahead of us.”
“Yes sir.” Torun slowly moves from the controls and head to the cryochambers, where the rest of the marines are sleeping peacefully through this one-month journey. He shakes his head once, wishing he were one of them, able to sleep and not have to man the ship with Lieutenant Dordon breathing behind his back. “Maybe one day, I’ll rest in peace, and away from Dordon and his crew,” thought Torun.
~.~.~.~.~.~
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> peers through one of the windows in the cargo bay, looking at the ship. It’s a bigger one than a normal cargo ship that usually docks in this far-out place every once in a blue moon. He turns to Cimedipe and says, “I think this is the troops transport they were talking about, to reinforcement security here in Froimor.”
“You think? Look.” Cimedipe points towards the small line of marines assembled in the cargo bay, after it has been pressurized, and then lead off to the security checkpoint room. “It’s about time. Getting tired of scientists, getting tired of the food, and getting tired of the whole facility. I want to get out of here… and away from those critters. I still get those shivers.”
~.~.~.~.~.~
Squadman <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> peers around in confusion, especially coming out of sleep, out of the cargo bay, and now into a white room with two doors. To him, the only thing seems to be humming background, with an annoying women’s voice that keeps on saying, “Processing.” After a few minutes, the woman finally breaks her loop and says, “Complete. Squadman <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, part of TSA troop #MGD2546-02. You are cleared for this facility. Welcome to the Froimor Outpost.” A door slides open, different from the door <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> came into.
For a moment, <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> hesitates to go through until he heard Dordon’s voice yell out, “<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>? Are you going to stay in there for another doctor’s checkup, or are you going to join with the rest of the team?” Hearing that, <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> briskly walks out of the room into another room, where most of the marines – <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, Torun, Dordon, ScopeNecro, Nalseht, Falreh, and EightyThree – are located. There are a few other people as well, including a scientist and another two marines. The room is formed like a briefing room, with all the marines sitting down looking forward to the blackboard, except Dordon, the scientist and the two marines.
Dordon glares at <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> as <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> takes a seat next to <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>. He clears up as he glances around at the marine team. “Boys, you’re in a treat, since as of right now, you be staying here for a while and not shipped out towards missions where you get yourself killed. So give this man your full attention.”
The scientist clears his throat. “Ah yes, thank you. Excuse me for my ramblings, but I’m not much of a speaker,” says the scientist nervously. “Welcome to the Froimor Outpost, which stands for Frontiersman’s Remote Outpost In Medicial-Oriented Research. I am Doctor Clide, head of this facility. You were chosen as part of an honor group in helping us pioneer to a new humanity age, and with your help for a couple months, we can make that a reality.”
Dordon scowls as he looks at the confused look in the marine team. When they start muttering and turning to each other, Dordon barks out, “That means you’re doing guard duty for the next few months! Now pipe down, and listen up!” The team became instantly silence, looking at the scientist.
The scientist nervously clears his throat and nods to Dordon. “Thank you lieutenant. Now most of you will have full access around the place, barring the bridge, where we have our main communication and command chair. Lieutenant, you’ll have access to that, of course. But since you all have access to our labs as well, there are a few things you need to understand. We are doing some very delicate research here, and you have to tolerate a few things that would seem… unnatural to your training. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, if you would please bring in <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crispy<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>?”
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> nods a little as he walks outside for a moment. Cimedipe mutters beneath his breath, as the other marines look towards the door in anticipation. Within a minute, <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> comes back, tugging a Kharaa walking critter, in tow. Immediately the marine team hoists their weapons out and point towards the fade, but they freeze as Dordon’s voice roars out.
“Cease fire, cease fire! Sit down, put your weapons away! Did you hear what the man said, or were you all dazzled by his beauty?!” Clide turns and looks over at Dordon questioningly, along with the rest of the marine team. Even the fade turned, and then chuckled softly.
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> looks and points to the fade. “Hey…hey! He understands us!”
“Now now, I know you have many questions. The best way to explain is that we have technology to do limited communications with the Kharaa. These particular species will not harm us out of spite. They have allowed us to study them, as they also have studied us,” said Clide, trying to calm the group down.
Cimedipe mutters, “Yeah, right.” <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> nearby heard Cimedipe and slowly nod in agreement. However, both remain silent for the moment, with <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crispy<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> nearby.
“Now let us head to the laboratory 3 where some of your questions will be answered. But before you go, please take one of the maps of this facility.” Clide points to a stack of paper in the front desk.
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> pick up the paper and look at the map. Most of the rooms look normal, except that they have a lot more redundant passages than needed. The far right looks odd, with the two auxiliary power generators with a huge gap in the middle. Glancing at Dordon, and then looking at the scientist who has moved out of the room, he decided to keep his question to himself, for now.
The group moved through several places, stopping several places as the scientist swipes his card through in order to get past the metal doors. Clide explains, “The security protocols are in place so that if there is an unlikely attack from within or without, these metal doors will segregate and isolate the situation. But we haven’t had a situation throughout my time here.”
He moves on, leaving Cimedipe shaking his head slightly again. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> noticed the moment from Cimedipe and makes note later to talk to the man. Finally the group has reached to the laboratory, showing several horror sights. There were many Kharaa critters walking around, without any seen restraints, as they seem to perform several acts. All the marines shudders as they see a body gets devoured by an onos, only for the onos to gag and then throw up the body.
“We’re trying to produce a nanite armor that would repulse the onos’ devour by throwing up whomever he tries to devour. It looks like the newest version is working,” explained Clide.
Nalseht blurts out, “But… but how are you getting them to corporate?” He glances wide-eye against the onos, having seen one of his colleagues got devoured in his last mission.
“Ah, that is a trick. You see, we’ve been collecting eggs, and growing them. Then we place these bands on them so that we can communicate, and effectively remove all aggression from their instinct. Come here, <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crispy<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>.” As <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crispy<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> comes to Clide, Clide points out the slightly discolored band as a poor attempt to blend with <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Crispy<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>’s skin. “Without their aggression, they become more or less pets, and we’ve named every one of them to keep them distinct. They seem to like that.”
Nalseht nods, turning around and nearly jumped backwards as a skulk decloaks next to the wall in front of him. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> looks nervously as he says, “How many Kharaa do you have? How do we know their names, and is there a way to keep them… away from us?”
Dordon barks, “Soldier, stop with the questions!” However, Clide hold up his hand, and says, “It’s alright lieutenant.”
As Clide picks up the skulk, who is chuckling like a broken record, he says “They are not allowed anywhere except in the laboratories and their habitats. As for their names, you will receive equipment that will scan these bands and reveal information about them. This skulk is called <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Xentor<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, who always get a kick after decloaking in front of people.”
“Now I know you have more questions, but we must press on.” With that, Clide place <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Xentor<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> down and moves towards the exit, with the marine team following him.
The rest of the tour is uneventful. They looked at the cargo bay. They also looked at the greenhouse that provided all the oxygen in the base. The only place of interest is the dining area, which was fully stocked with provisions and drinks. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> chuckled as he nudges Nalseht, saying “Look at that, we’ll probably be tasting some of that this week.” Nalseht smiles in agreement, replying back “No more MRE for us!”
Finally, they went to the barracks, which is split up into four sections. One houses the scientists, and the other three are for marines. Clide nods and says, “I’ll leave you here, lieutenant, to deal with the living situation. There are no more other places for these marines to see, so when you’re done, meet me at the bridge. I need to discuss something with you in private.”
Dordon nods, and then glances around at the barracks as Clide leaves. After a moment of silence, Dordon barks out, “Alright, listen up! You will be bunking each a partner, so don’t get comfy with the room. Falreh, you’re with ScopeNecro. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Mantrid<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, with <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>. Nalseht, you’re teamed up with EightyThree. Then get a move on back to the ship, grab your cargo! Hut hut!” The marine team snaps to, and quickly moves back towards the cargo bay, where the ship has the rest of their gear.

Later that night, Clide, Torun, and Dordon are at the bridge, looking at the ship in the cargo bay hold. Clide looks worried as he talks to Dordon.
“Are you sure all the marines checked out?”
“Of course, I double and triple checked their backgrounds!” Dordon looks irritated as he glances toward the ship. He adds, in a softer tone, “Is it that bad?”
Clide nods a bit. “Despite our security checks and being a nonexistent facility, there are still people on the outside that have guessed this project. You know what’ll happen if a political group hears about this?”
Dordon nods, as Torun replies, “A full advantage in controlling the Kharaa. Which means they could control the Senate.”
Clide sighs, as he replies coldly, “There are a few marines that have finished their duty here. They’ll be shipping off tomorrow with you. You’ll know what to do.”
“Their cryochambers will malfunction in transit to Earth. Some of them need repairs anyway, so it’ll look like an accident. The whole ship needs an overhaul anyway.” Torun look towards the ship, seeing several acid marks across the bow, including a partially disintegrated forward turret.
“I hate to see good marines go like this, but in the sake of national security, I don’t see much of a choice. If you say is true,” Dordon ponders for a moment, “and you’re close to fully controlling them, it is essential to keep it a secret. Alright, I’ll give the marine a chance to stay and hope they’ll choose that.”
“Good. Let’s hope that within a month, this will all be over, and the war will no longer be a threat.” Clide smiles a little, nodding to the small group as they raise their glasses and toast to a new future.
~.~.~.~.~.~
Somewhere deep inside the base…
A lone figure stands in front of a computer terminal in a dark room. He fiddled with the controls for a bit, frowning as the screen continues to show static. Finally, after twisting one knob and typing in a password, the screen clears up showing another dark figure in the screen.
“Agent #412, I assume you arrived safely?”
“Yes sir, I went through all the checks. They do not suspect me.” The figure types another command, removing more static from the screen.
The person in the screen smiled. “It is important to act quickly and remove the threats. Do you have the disk?”
The figure nods, without smiling back, as he shows the disk in front of the screen. “I have it right here.”
“Good. You won’t be able to control all the Kharaa right away since their blasted security system is good. But you should be able to infect one without them detecting. Take one, and then kill them all. They will have to scrap the project since they are already in trouble with funding, and then we can take over. Did you set everything ready?”
The figure nods. “Yes sir.”
“Good! Within a month, we’ll be toasting to a new future for Earth… and the Kharaa.” The grin on the screen widen, along with an evil greed glint in the person’s eye.
This time, the figure smiles and salutes to the screen, before turning the screen off, and heading out the door. A new future awaits for the Froimor Outpost.
-----------------------------------------------------------
[Day 1 (not 2) will start on Tuesday, 3:30 pm PST (10/17/2006). Note the time change. I will not make it at 2pm this time due to a meeting.]
~.~.~.~.~.~
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Petco<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> yawns lazily as he stretched out on the ground, slightly glancing over at the empty plate of tasty treats that he just gorged earlier. “Life is easy,” he thought. “No need to go around and spit out parts of my stomach so that they would grow individual structures against any threat. No need to wander around and spray everyone with bacteria to expedite their healing process. Yup, just sit here, and have human servants feed me tasty treats. Ah, this is the life.” He smiles thoughtfully as he slowly drifts off to sleep to devour more tasty treats in his dream. He is completely content that he didn’t notice another Kharaa nearby, silently going across the room with a definite goal in mind.
This Kharaa nibbled on the grates against a nearby wall so delicately that he managed to unscrew the grate without damage it. Having done this several times, he pulled the grate off to reveal a vent inside. Unlike before, the vent is now completely silent and empty, without the sign of electricity or the humming sound to warn people back. The skulk plunged into the vent, and vanished out of sight as he cloaked for his task ahead.
Grab the device, run through the vent, and drop the device. Grab another device, run through another vent, and drop it. The Kharaa continued silently at his task like a dog bent on fetching and retrieving a stick. After placing the devices upon various parts of the base, the skulk pattered through the vent into another room, where someone was present. He cloaked immediately, trying to avoid being detected, and slowly walked towards the person, getting a full view of his back. The skulk hunched backwards, but before he could react, the person turned around, with a pair of goggles on his face, peering down on the skulk.
“Back so soon? Did you complete your task?” The skulk chuckled softly, and crouched like a dog waiting to be pet. Tentatively, with a bit of courage, the person puts his hand over the skulk’s head. He didn’t keep it there too long, for he pulled it back quickly, away from harm’s way.
“Then back to the lab you go. Remember to close the grate, and act normally for about…” the figure with the goggles glanced at his watch. “…One hour, things will get very interesting here. Now go, before someone noticed you’re missing.” The skulk turned around and shuffled off into the vent, as the remaining figure quickly puts the grate over the vent in place.
~.~.~.~.~.~
Nalseht was having a grand time. After much persuasion, he got EightyThree to go with him to the kitchen for a much needed midnight snack. Now he’s back at his room, swaying back and forth trying to keep his balance. EightyThree looks disgusted at him.
“You call that a midnight snack? That was more like a beer run.”
Nalseht leaned against the wall as he pointed accusingly to the three EightyThrees forming in front of him. “You wuld do the sam thin if yuv’e ben thrugh what I’vve havd.” Nalseht slumped down to the ground, and close his eyes. Moments later, he dozed off to sleep.
“Right. Like any of us haven’t been through our own painful situations.” EightyThree reached over and grab Nalseht over his back, and plop him on the bed. He hops over and lay on his own bed as he wondered what the upcoming months would be like. Unfortunately, those thoughts were cut short as Nalseht started to snore loudly. EightyThree groaned and placed his pillow over his head, trying to drown out the noise. He was so bent on his task that he failed to notice a device with red blinking lights in the corner…
~.~.~.~.~.~
Torun stayed at the bridge after the meeting was over, using the cargo scanners to access the status of the transport ship. This was the only time where he could get some peace and quiet, away from the Lieutenant’s diatribe. Well, as much silence as one could get from the beeping noises on the bridge that continually report the status of the base. He glanced back at his notes, and look at the scanner’s report with a frown on his face. Likewise, he was bent on his task that he failed to notice a lone, out of place device against the wall, that had red lights that display “50, 49, 48…”
~.~.~.~.~.~
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> looked bothered. Currently, he is in <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>’s room, along with Cimedipe, as they are conversing about today’s events. They have just come back from the mess hall, after getting a quick bite to eat. Cimedipe nodded to <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> as he said, “So you noticed us when Clide gave out that rose-colored speech.”
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> nodded a bit. “Is it true? They actually can communicate with us? And they won’t harm us?”
Cimedipe sat down on his bed as he pondered carefully. “Communicate? Sure, we’ve heard of the horror stories from survivors hearing raspy chuckling before they were attacked. But not harm us… I wouldn’t bet my life on it. You should come with us tomorrow, where we go with Lieutanent Freemon to get out of this nut place. At least then you’ll know your enem…” Cimedipe paused as he noticed something blinking out of his corner of his eye. He narrowed his brows in worry.
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> noticed Cimedipe’s reaction and followed Cimedipe’s glance. He watched as Cimedipe went over to pick up a device that was blinking red. <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> asked, “What is it?”
Cimedipe looked at the two. “<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b>, you know I’m paranoid. This wasn’t here before.” He turned the device over to see the red screen displaying “05.” A second later, the number displayed was “04.”
It took a split second as the three looked at each other in horror before <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> cried out “Fire in the hole!” and ducked behind the bed, along with <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> who dived to the other bed. Cimedipe turned pale as he rushed to the door, and threw it across the hallway with all his might. Seconds later, he ducked back into the room as an explosion roars in the hallway, blasting debris where Cimedipe was standing before.
A few moments passed before anyone could speak or move. Cimedipe took a step towards the two, as he said “Wow, that was cl…” but he never finished the sentence. All three were violently tossed aside as a larger, deeper rumble echo throughout the base. The room started to shake and chatter, having parts of the wall and ceiling peel down like old wallpaper. Among the chaos, a large bone-shattering crack is heard. Then suddenly like the wind, the shaking stopped.
<b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> and <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> barely had time to look over at <!--coloro:#FF0000--><span style="color:#FF0000"><!--/coloro-->Cimedipe<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc-->, where his body lay crumpled on the ground with a large support beam on top of his body. As a pool of red quickly spread from Cimedipe, the lights in the room went off, and the normal rumbling of power in the base halt to complete silence.
Moments later, several emergency lights flickered on, leaving <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->Sky<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> and <b><!--coloro:#3333FF--><span style="color:#3333FF"><!--/coloro-->EMP Demon<!--colorc--></span><!--/colorc--></b> bathed in red hue, as the alarms started wailing…

Day 1 will end on Friday, 3 pm PST (10/20/2006)
Anyway, nothing to go on yet, so here's one for <b>blackmage</b>, cause I don't know him. Welcome to TWG <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
More importantly, where is everyone? The day has been going for 12 hours, and only 3 people have posted? With the majority of people in the US (see pregame thread), there was more than enough usable time for people to post. This could be a scary game at this rate.
Vote count:
Petco (1) - i'm lost
i'm lost (1) - Petco
Blackmage (1) - Xentor

Hmm. I'd be inclined to vote for Blackmage just on principles (hey, when a random encounter appears...) but it'd suck to boot him first night from his first game.
By the same selection process, I at least don't remember <b>Xentor</b>, so he gets my vote. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
I do so hate placeholder votes, but as I have nothing better to go on atm, I'll vote for <b>Isamil</b> for old time's sake. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

The best way to explain is that we have technology to do limited communications with the Kharaa. These particular species will not harm us out of spite. Cimedipe mutters, “Yeah, right.” Sky nearby heard Cimedipe and slowly nod in agreement.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->For the record, I cast this vote out of spite, <b>Sky</b> <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

This way people can at least have a little more reasoning behind their random votes.
1) I seem to be having some issues with the forum. Sometimes it'll remember me, sometimes I have to relog in, and sometimes it won't accept my password. Just an fyi if I disappear, I'll prolly be ranting about it in IRC.
2) The story's plot is not a valid basis for any kind of vote, except in a joking fashion. Just thought it'd be good to remind people of this; don't read too into the story for clues.

Yes, the story is never related to the actual stats/roles/stuff, so don't base off of it.
Though since it's the beginning, Crispy probably voted in a joking fashion, we don't really have any clues on the first day anyway(or first few days), so we'll have to vote on really random stuff, such as player's names, jokes on the IRC channel, and so on. It's usually random votes for random people....
...But since there are a lot of people who are voting against Xentor right now, I feel there may be wolves who may want to get a target for people to just jump on and vote against right away, so I'll vote for one of the person who has voted for Xentor and it'll be for <b>Isamil</b> simply because he was the last one who voted for him.

Just a suggestion and reminder, if you might not be able to post/vote right away, or something's come up, it's a good idea to tell us on the IRC channel or on the forum. It's just better to know if whether you've forgotten about it and start becoming inactive, or have plans and are busy with stuff.
So, I ask again: <i>Just a reminder? Or over-reaction?</i>
Because he's batty. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

Erm...if anyone's overreacting / reading too much into something Crispy, it's you. It's the first game we've played in a long time; I don't think rules reminders are that much out of order, especially seeing as im_lost already posted a reminder about nighttime rules and the no-edit policy.
<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->But there's no rule that says don't make joke votes according to the story, whereas there are rules about nighttime communication and no editing. Therefore your post cannot be considered a 'rule' reminder. I don't know why you're getting so agitated about it if there's nothing in it, though.
Hmm, let's think about this. Crispy seems to overreact to Sky's comment (though with a potentially legitimate reason), while Isamil places a third "random" vote on Xentor (even acknowledging that it is the third vote in his post). I think I will put my vote on <b>Crispy</b> after all, maybe I'll move it before the day ends.
The votes count stands currently as follows:
Xentor (3) - Talesin, Blackmage, Isamil
Isamil (2) - Sky, Petco
Blackmage (1) - Xentor
EMPDemon (1) - Hellfire3k
Crispy (1) - i'm lost
Sky (1) - Crispy

I liked the "people who switched votes" addition to this, though I don't expect the person running the game to keep it updated. If someone can get in an unnoticed vote change, good for them.
