    I don't know if you have one of those, but you could buy one of these nifty metal DVD Tower racks like this:

    <img src="http://www.heals.co.uk/content/ebiz/heals/invt/519173/519173_m.jpg" border="0" alt="IPB Image" />

    There's some space on the right of your shelf for one of these.

    You have a surprising amount of crap mixed in with all that goodness. The Island? Mystery Men? Fantastic Four? Click? Do you close your eyes and spin around in a DVD store?

    That said, since you've watched all this, I guess you're open to new stuff, right? I recommend Scrubs and Veronica Mars. Scrubs has like, 4 seasons, I think, and Mars has 2 seasons out on DVD and a third one on TV now that you don't want to watch because it will be full of spoilers.

    Edit: You bought <i>Thumbtanic?!</i> I'm hoping that was sight unseen.

    Dead Like Me is one of my favourite shows. Great series.
  • [WHO]Them[WHO]Them You can call me Dave Join Date: 2002-12-11 Member: 10593Members, Constellation
    It should be noted that the current collection doesn't comprise everything I want to own, I have to pace myself a little bit.

    And to everyone who said there's some crap mixed in there, you can go ahead and die now, kthxbye.

    Yeah, that rack is emergency overflow (from before I installed the shelves seen). Something bugs me committing to it's use.

    So... what, you like Angel, but not the 3rd season?

    You could always get a bunch of 500GB hard drives, rip images of all the dvds, and then put them into storage.

    Ultraviolet? Aeon Flux? And from what I can tell, you're missing Blade Runner and The Fifth Element. Your sci-fi choices leave much to be desired, Sir Them. At least you've got Ghostbusters.

    One from the first movie's release day, and then of course the box set on it's release day.

    As for fifth element and Blade Runner. I already said before there are some things I'm missing but need to pace myself a bit. And my brother already has both of those in the house.

    Buy fileserver. Raid a bunch of drives together. Put DVD images on server. Use appropriate software (I use beyond media with dvd library plugin) to browse and insta-watch video of choice through your HTPC. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    Or just buy more shelves. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
