Getting Voice To Work In-game

<div class="IPBDescription">a better topic title</div> All my tests come back fine both with Voicetweak, and system checks. But I don't show up as voice capable when I'm in the game. On the player scores (TAB) it shows who is voice capable, and I don't show up. I have bound the voice key, and I'm assuming you hold it down during your entire speech. I get the speaker icon up. But nothing occurs in game.

I'm running Windows XP professional on a P41.8A overclocked to 2.4 on an Asus P4S533 board with onboard sound. I'm a fair techie, but I've not ventured into Voice or Internet Voice Chat before. This is the first game that's REALLY made me want voice. hehe.

Any ideas are appreciated.

Dont hold me to this but my Mic works fine, but on the score page the mic spot for my name is blank. If you hold down control or whatever control u have bound you should see a Microphone in yellow in the lower right hand corner. Also right after you start a game pull down the console and look at what it said during startup sometimes it will tell u it is disabled because of a conflict, ensure the settings in the Multiplayer/Advanced are checked yellow/ and the voice output slider is 75% to 100% for volume.

Use "voice_loopback 1" in console to hear your own voice as if someone else was talking.
