Wierd Problem

<div class="IPBDescription">NS Wont Start, help</div> Whenever I join an NS server, I see the orange loading text on the black background, and windows plays that sound it makes whenver you try to click somewhere you can't, or when something pops up under the program you are running ( sounds like boonk or something). Then it just sits there. When I hit escape, it takes me back to the desktop, like it crashed. Help!

Oh, and I'm not sure if it matters, but P3 ~600MHz 288MB RAM, GeForce4 Ti4200, WinXP.

    ok, lets see, you have tried restarting?
    have you tried making a LAN/o/l game?
    it dosn't give you any error msg?
