Or is the supermodel of the gaming world...
All looks, and no substance.
Call me old fashioned, but I prefer my games to be all about substance, and only having style as a second thought.
It looks sexy (as pretty much all nugen games do), but does it have the playability that compliments the looks.

Watch the gameplay videos.
Definitely looking forward to this one.
Release: TBA for all 3.
Style is nothing without substance; substance is nothing without style. So far Assassin's Creed looks to deliver on both. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Tetris/Bomberman. All substance.
Manhunt/Airblade. All 'style'.
Half-Life 2/Okami/JSRF. Substance with style.
Style is nothing without substance. The opposite is most definitely not true. Starting with a substantial base and adding style just makes the substance better.

It's like Hitman, in medieval/rennisance times. Looks spiffy.

It has a really neat crowd dynamics system as well.

Yah, I heard that if you like shove your way through a crowd you'll gain unwanted attention from the guards. Where as if you slip through silently, you're less likely to be discovered before you reach the mark. Something to do with those shoulder buttons.

It's how fast you walk through them. If you are moving fast, he'll toss people he moves through out of the way (if you've played dead rising, this is similar to the power push skill you gain later on) and if you are walking slow he'll kinda just blend in. If you walk through a large crowd going the other direction you can be knocked over by them for example.
I think it's based on actual crowd dynamics modelling (that, for example, was used to determine what happened to the soliders at Agincourt).
Looks interesting all the same; while I like the crowd stuff I'm more intrigued by the fact you can interact with almost everything in the environment so if you see a bit of architecture, chances are you can climb on it ^^
It used to be a PS3 exclusive but Sony's been losing exclusives a lot lately.

Yeah I deff think this will be a groundbreaking game for its genre, but then again looks can be deceiving haha
