Fortunately the masses cannot convert that to USD and are clueless. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

A little over £600, and much of that will soon be going toward a new PC. That's 600 left including my overdraft. £1600 if you take credit cards into consideration, but I'd rather not think of it like that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />

Gonna be a lot less the next few months, kids on vacation = no money for me. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

    $AUD 140.

This is going to go down in two weeks to about half [for personal vices], and then hopefully back up in a month and a half when I start my new job.

It's actually a an Oscar Schmidt by Washburn - OB40, far as I know (and remember) Oscar Schmidth make like... autoharps. Or banjos or something equally strange for a bass. I just recently got time to take it in to get its intonation adjusted, new strings (Dunlop low-tensions, medium gauge), and it's playing really nice now. I'm happy with it... good starter bass. I can finally practice and stuff, and have been like a madman.. finally got some lessons scheduled too.

A better question with a more predictable answer might be how much is in your pension at the moment.

But most people would go Whu? Pension? I'm not eighty you git!

I have money. Less than some and more than others. I am a student. I have not been working at my part time job for 3 weeks but I have been living at home for some of them. If I want something I probably get it and deal with the costs later. unless it's like above half a grand.

Now estimate. Oh yeah in GBP.

good thing about being in the military is you get steady pay, free lodging, free food, free heat, free water, free furniture, etc... and then you get free tuition. take advantage of what you get and you can come out on top.

Saying that you get these things for free is a little bit naive, cause you work and instead of having to pay for your own food, lodging etc. you just get these things for "free" but are paid less <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink-fix.gif" />

The actual good thing about the military is the fact, that there is really no time to spend the money you make, besides smoking, drinking and ######s.

So if you do not drink nor smoke nor pay ######s you might actually end up making money <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />

$150 from Christmas, I need a job. I was thinking of getting:

    1. Wii.
    2. Acoustic/Electric Bass.
    3. DS Lite (My DS is in horrible condition).

Though I'm short on each, and I don't see many games on the DS right now that warrant a DS Lite purchase.

Upright bass is an amazingly expensive hobby that takes considerably more effort than electric bass, a completely different sound and style, and it's far more finnicky. Though, I kind of prefer it. Just don't randomly choose one or the other... god Upright is expensive.

Also, $202 Canadian. I've got pay coming in this Friday, but it won't be much. I need to finish school and get a real job.

I wasn't refering to an upright; I don't believe I have enough muscles to hold it up or stabilize it, I probably don't have the height either.

Sif Grandpa's guitar, then. I'm a fatty, but underneath it all I've got pretty good muscle mass, I guess. I've been thinking of working my proficiency up to try out upright in the future, but I dunno. I got such small fingers I'm afraid I may have to end up moving to electric guitar.
