<div class="IPBDescription">in my opinion</div>-Solid bot support. Well made, that make the game fun to play while offline.
-Getting fixed the problem of the next/previous weapon, (yes, if you press next weapon key, you go directly to the weapon, but if you press the previous weapon key, you see the weapon rulet, that bug has been there on all NS versions, and i dont know why, this is the only mod with this problem that i ve seen)
-Getting fixed the point of view to see the lifebar of structures. I think that while using one or attacking one, you should always be able to see it.
-On melee combat, try to make the game less chaotic. A skulk player can not see exactly how near to the enemy really is. You just jump to the enemy and bite lots of times.
Melee combat is important in this game. Maybe the camera should be putted on a way the player see the true mouth of the skulk (the true mouth of the model), so he can calculate better the distance to the enemy ( but in first person of course)
until this point, i ve listed some small points, that should make the game more comfortable to play.
those points simply should be fixed on an game if you pay for it.
I will not post gamemodes/weapons suggections. Those are important points that the development team will investigate, and this is not the purpose of my post.
well, and now, a thing i would like to comment to the community.
This afternoon i have been playing ns since long time without touching it, and i was owned lots of times.
The mod is not like i remembered from 1 year ago.
This afternoon I have been able to frag after being killed lots of times, and only in CO maps. Curious. I never though i was so bad on a game. I think i have a decent aiming.
This was dissapointing and i think that LOTS of people in my situation could have stopped playing at this point ,but there is more,
for being too bad, my teammates were flaming me saying i was wasting resources (make an evolution, then die, and repeat and repeat). So this, coul potentially make LOTS of new comers simply avoid this game.
I though this was a semitactical-fps/strategy game, but the gameplay that now has, has made it an arcade jumper like unreal tournament 2004,.
People with fades and skulks just go so super fast, that they practically flashes and reaches the enemies and get superb killings. This techniques, demands lots of hours of specialization, not only for being a alien to doing them, but for being a marine and hit those super faster enemies too.
This diference of skill betwen players is going to close doors to new comers, and not so hardcore players, so NS2 could be only sold to the actual community and be not opened to a bigger marquet.
Put it simple, the difference of skill between pros and nonpros makes the game almost unplayable to newcomers.
The question is simple:
-Should be made gameplay changes in order to prevent super players? (aka, putting limits to bunnyhops, and things like that?)
Im not trying to make a war, im just asking for the point of view of the current community, if the community likes the current gameplay, the current gameplay must be the way to go.
