i cannot play on offline mode

i have ns 3.2 beta 1 installed
i have the rcbot

sometimes i create a map to play alone with bots, while being connected and i have no problems
but sometimes i dont have the internet conection available because i only have a half-day connection,
so i put steam in offline mode.

If i try to create a game, the game tries to load and then, returns to the main menu.
I can create games for hl1, cs:s and team fortress while offline,
NS is the only that doesnt let me play in offline mode.

Anyone knows how to solve this?

I can confirm the same happens to me. I only have offline mode available to me at the moment, and if I attempt to start beta 1 the usual steam dialogue "preparing to launch natural selection 3.2 beta 1" appears. Then the half life window opens and the background window is visible for a second before the whole thing closes without an error message. Version 3.1 still works as normal.
