Okay, yeah, I've got snow now. Damn that was a driving experience...who knew that speed bumps being taken at 3 miles an hour down a hill was enough to almost cause a fishtail?
It's -10c outside, which is bitterly bitterly cold for Vancouver. And we have nearly 2 feet of snow at this point. It's incredible. I'm surprised bellevue only got a light dusting, that storm front moved right over you guys?

You know, I still think my dad was an idiot, but there was something he said about snow that, even if an atheist, I think you can appreciate:

I seriously hope that is a sarcastic joke towards idiot Christians...I barely hold my faith anymore, but for all the much I dislike Christians, I'm finding people who think we all think like the fundamentalists to be the most sickening ><
Edit: I don't mean to derail or insult, just expressing distress at the mass amount of times I've seen "Christians pwnt" things all over tech news these days(slashdot, digg, etc).

Yeah, Redmond didn't get it but half as bad as Bellevue. We've got about half an inch, max, and if you step on the grass its not there anymore <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />

I'm thinking about it. The wind would probably blow them out or something.
same thing happened here as has for the last 2-3 winters: some 10-30 cm of snow in late october, then it gradually turns to slush and ice. by december its all gone, and wont come back before mid to late january. not a very white christmas, but i cant say im not enjoying this. if im not on slalom skis i just cannot stand to see any snow around.

Bah, snow is overrated. It's so... cold. <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" /> It rained the other day, then immediately froze into a thin layer of ice over everything, then snowed about an inch. It was slippery as hell and you couldn't even tell where not to step. Maybe I should move closer to the equator, or closer to the earth's core where it's still warm. Snow used to be fun when I could still play in it without looking retarded.
Everything speaks for a no-snow-christmas over here (sweden, all of it IIRC). After Jan/feb tho it will probably snow like flippin crazy, it's like the winter compensates the long warmth with short intense winters.
