Remove in-game sprite alpha. Possible?

is it posible to remove alpha from sprites which is added in the game?
I mean, not the last color in the pallet alpha, but the alpha on different sprites like upgrades, building health, crosshairs.

you could recompile them with normal setting instead of alpha with sprite wizard or sprite explorer, but why would you want to do that?

I have made some custom sprites which would look nicer with no alpha..
But I don't thint that would help.. because, these sprites have like a 50% opacity... maby that something you can't change :/
