as to the lost guy, we've had many many arguments about that, and the consensus is that heroes is indeed better. most of them think lost asks too many questions and doesn't give enough answers which makes it worse over time.

Hey, one reason I like Asian drama more than American is the fact that we get to see a satisfying conclusion. You can watch a hotshot doctor facing his/her superior while balancing romance relationship for so long. Smallville should have ended a few seasons ago IMO. How many years is Clark Kent going to be in Highschool?

1. They go on like it is now till episode 23. 2. Big finale 3. Second Volume starts with either a) New characters b) New overall plott

I love Masi Oka. He's awesome.
That was a good episode. Lots went by, we learned a lot. I hope this time, Zach isn't homosexual, 'cause I think another geek+cheerleader romance would make me giddy. <3!
Well. Since asking about Lost. I've now got up to date with heroes and I can definitely say its much better. Thing about Lost was that you had whole episodes that didnt really develop the story or the mystery of the islands. I.e. there were lots of episodes where someone had a flashback and cleverly ran off by themselves into the island and started hallucinating.
SPOILER
I like all the characters in Heroes. Hiro is great and the Petrillis are cool too. I loved the part where Sylar just flicks his finger and the girls head started being cut off. Hmmm... Maybe thats a bit sick and 'loved' isnt the right word... but Sylar is amazingly powerful. I wonder how he got the powers though. I guess he doesn't just eat their brains??
His original power was that he could tell how things worked just by looking at them, hence his job fixing watches. So my theory is that he takes peoples brains, and figures out how their powers work by looking at them, or analyzing them, and thereby gains those powers.

Okay: Episode 16, best episode, hands down, WTH, go watch it now if you haven't. Holy effin' hell on a pogo stick. Who else saw this, and who else couldn't breathe for half the episode?

When you have telekinesis, you can manipulate your environment, regardless of the form it takes. Its like being able to channel, (if you read WoT) just takes creativity once you can control the power.
A little late, but I love the last episode, lots of questions answered. Matt will now probably work for Bennett, solving his job prob <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Yeah, I cant remember the names of the characters, but things are linking up even more now. It was sad to see Claire's dad do what he had to do. But it was nice confirming that he was a good guy after all.
More interesting, Hiro's dad!! He seems to be the ultimate boss of the "Paper Company". If thats the case, he probably knows his son has powers, especially after Hiro kept talking about "doing a mission" when he talked to his Dad in the other episode.
And Lindemann. Is this person part of something separate from the "Paper Company"? He seems to have ties with so many of the 'Heroes'. From Hiro's sword, to being the person who always buys Isaac's paintings, to schizo girl's debt to him.
I want to know the name of the invisible guy and claire's dad. It seems like almost all of the Primatech employees aren't given names in the show, the only one that has been given to us so far is Eden/Sylvia and she's dead. Haitian guy isn't named and neither is Mr Bennet's boss.
Also, does Primatech know about Niki? In the episode where Nathan almost gets abducted, Mr Bennet tells the Haitian to "just take the one". Which then brings up the question of whether Linderman and Primatech are working together since Linderman has the room wired up for video and he would have seen the abduction.
To me there seems to be two organizations that are doing tag and release ops to mutants. The Primatech organization leaves the double needle marks on their subjects while the other seems to use the partial DNA thing as their symbol (the S-thing Isaac painted a lot on Hiro's first jump forward in time). If this is the case then the Haitian is a double agent since he wears the symbol on a necklace.
The replica sword Hiro steals is marked with the S and the real sword is being held by the Linderman group. Clearly Hiro's dad has power over Primatech and knows about the legend of Takezo Kensai which is somehow connected to the S organization. Perhaps the original organizations started off from Japan, with Hiro's father being in a splinter group of the Takezo Kensai org. When they extended their power to America, Hiro's dad uses Primatech as a cover while the Takezo Kensai org uses Linderman as a front.
In my mind, they have two divergent goals. Primatech monitors and subdues mutants, occasionally exploiting their powers while Takezo Kensai/Linderman is a group that is run by mutants and is interested in gathering them together to use their powers for mutant empowerment/taking over the world. This is from the Haitian guys statement "I answer to someone whose instructions supersede yours... in your daughter's life". Since the Haitian protected Claire from Primatech/Hiro's dad who wanted to take her away once she comes into her powers, I have to sumrise he is talking about the Takezo Kensai org. Also, I guess there is some sort of insulation from the Japanese head office of Primatech or they would have seen the Haitian guy's necklace.
Then there is a third emerging group, a grassroots resistance of mutants that have been tagged by Primatech but have not been claimed by Linderman/Takezo Kensai perhaps by virtue of being thought of as too weak/uncontrollable? Hannah Gittelman (Wireless from ep 16) is the mutant that Invisible Dude (we need this guys name! too bad***!) was sheltering from Primatech but his "death" enabled Primatech to capture her without his protection. Before his dissappearance he manages to impart some knowledge to Hannah which enables her escape and resistance against Primatech. So she goes around finding mutants that have already been tagged by Primatech and pits them against Primatech without telling them the whole truth. I'm pretty sure she was hiding something from Matt and Dave at the graveyard.

Seriously. Has Heroes moved to Sunday? Because I only saw it was on today because uTorrent started downloading it. If its not on tomorrow I'm going to have a lot of upset friends, especially considering this episode is so freaking cool!
And what's the name of the girl who can shapeshift?

She's only a year younger than me, but...my God, she looked like that when I was...holy. Holy. I can't think anymore.
I had to stop. She was too young- if not in actuality, then in career placement.
i rather like the actor they got to play sylar. he seems the type that would go and want more powers jsut for the sake of having them.
