Another thread about FPS issues

aight to the problem.. got a decent comp running at 2ghz, 1024 RAM and ati radeon x800 pro and while in-game NS my fps goes nuts.. from 10 fps to 100 fps.. rarley a 100....
So basiclly i need help with this.. know nothing bout comps really d;<
