conflicting client_dll with server
The Title and Description of this Topic is pretty self-explanitory, but for the purpose of elaboration...

I downloaded NS3.2beta1 Full Installation a couple hours ago. Signed onto steam, and ran Natural Selection (actually to be more factual, I used my Natural Selection shortcut on my desktop that automatically logs me onto steam). I performed a search for new servers, and found several servers that are running version 3.2Beta1. There were zero people on them, but I decided to connect anyway. During the validation process I was prompted with an error: cl_dlls/client.dll differs from servers (or something along those lines). I tired all the servers availible and each gave the same result. I tried switching out the client.dll under nsp with the one under ns. There IS a slight difference between the two in memory size, so naturally, I thought it would solve the problem. It hasn't. I corrected the change and decided to check your forum for a possible solution into this problem. I'm suprised no one else has reported this issue. I downloaded NS3.2beta1 FULL from jarHedz via link on http://www.unknownworlds.com/ today[12/7/2006].

That's more than likely your problem. 3.2 beta 1 runs from the nsp folder, and that link would probably be pointing to ns.

    As above...

To fix open Steam then from your games list launch Natural Selection 3.2 (Beta)
