This reminds me of quality vs quantity concerning food.
I don't see the point of buying expensive food(or 'quality food'), especially if they taste the same.
As long as the food is:
1. Healthy for you, as in it's not spoiled, expired, etc food. I don't mean fruits and vegetables I just simply mean if it doesn't make you sick.
2. Taste good - Enough said.
3. Gives you the needed vitamins, minerals, proteins, etc you need from that food.
There are plenty of cheap food which does all of the above. I see "quality" food from super expensive restaurants as being only 10% tastier, 10% healthier, and 300% times the price of the 'regular' version of the food.
I assume you're not fond of French cuisine? One of the main reasons I'm so eager for Christmas and New Year's eve is for the food...
