    If you'd be so kind as to post post some more info and detail the problem more, that would make it easier for us to help you. It's kind of hard to give suggestions without any information on what, exactly, you are doing.

    Perhaps some screenshots of the problem area (the ceiling)? Both in WC, and NS... I bet you'll get a ton of responses then.

    Make sure they are the uppermost brushes in the map.

    Make sure you are using the compile tools that come with the NSTR2.

    Also check your map doesn't leak, i'm geussing that a leak would prevent the outer faces being culled.

    hmm, i had this problem with cfac, but it was because i had a "{" texture that wasn't working properly, so i just replaced it with the completely blue texture.

    also, on a slightly different topic: i really don't understand why nobody can get it into their heads that if there's a leak, the map won't compile, no matter how hard you try... <!--emo&???--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'><!--endemo-->

    erm, the map will compile, it just wont be lit and the like (no back face culling, no VIS etc), it wont compile properly, but itll compile enough so you can load pointfiles and follow that annoying white line around till it goes into the void and goes nuts . . .

    i have a temporary fix for my problem i'm coating the tops of my ceiling brushes with the seethrough texture (you know the yellow one
    i doubt this is the way it's meant to be done but it will do for me until i compile and find it doesn't work <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->
