<div class="IPBDescription">Im doing patchy^3 (like you care :P)</div>So im soon off to army for at least 6months, If I enjoy it at all im prolly going to apply for the higher ranks(someone gief me the english names for `em? cant remember <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" /> )

Ill be around till christmas and then im goners! I will pop-up when ever I can and will _live_ here now as Its back to the golden days and I cant still hang around ^_^

so, I shalt be gone sooner or later.

    Where are you from and where are you headed?

    I'm leaving after Christmas too. "Special Jaeger" border guard, or aerial decant. Depends on how I do in the physical tests. Good luck to you, I'm sure it's gonna be a ###### no matter where you go.     You might be referring to sergeant, or lieutentant, when you're talking about higher ranks.

    How come you guys are doing such short times? Up here minimum is 6 months, typical is 12. At least the Russians have a mandatory 2 year army for all males. Suppose I'm lucky.

    yea - care to explain the whole process? You go through boot camp - come out with rank?

    What does the 4 years entail? I'd never do anything like that myself but i'm curious nonetheless.

    enlist for 4 years. boot camp is 3 months, come out with either E-1 or E-2 rank: private or private first class.

    or, if you have a college degree, go to OCS and other officer schools and end up an O-1, 2nd Lieutenant.

    Sergeant of Marines is not an officer rank. it's part of the enlisted Corps, at E-5.

    Yeah, I was looking for the whole xambagola, eg lieutant->sarge->commander->space patrol? or something like that <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wow.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":0" border="0" alt="wow.gif" />

    I occupy the northern finland and Im on my way from the capital-area to the middle of finland, its the second biggest "boot camp" of finland and theres loads of all stuff you can do there. Im still pretty much out of clue what I will be doing and will I raise in ranks, would be cool to be a sarge or something.

    Basically I was put on A.A and I know im too blind/tall for anything speshal like flying or sniping or something...
