<div class="IPBDescription">Not totally though</div>Ok, so the title is a little misleading. Basically, after a moment of no power, my PSP died completely. As in sweet f**k all when I turn it on, aside from a power light.
So, now, I have a £150 paperweight on my desk...
BUT
This now gives me an opportunity to see how the other half lives, because I'm gonna get a DS Lite instead. Mainly for the GBA SP slot, but also mainly because a new PSP is £150, and repairing my one I've got at the minute would cost £115 + shipping, because it's a nip model...
So, the only quandry I'm in now, is what colour to get it in, we have Black, White, and Blue over here (Not pink, because you can only get that with Nintendogs, and I have enough problems with the 2 dogs we've got atm, without having to get another one... Plus, I'd never play it, so it'd be a waste...)
So, what colour, black, blue, or white. If someone could put a poll up, it'd be handy <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
Also, feel free to leave message of condolances, and offerings etc...

Wasn't it like that before it broke? <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
seriously though... I have a PSP and I struggle to find any excuses to play it :/
My DS on the other hand, is a lil bundle of fun!!!
In all seriousness, that really sucks. Luckily, I sold mine not long ago; I was hoping it was close to breaking. You will not be disappointed with a DS, sir. Final Fantasy III is out... which means it's time to make a character a ninja for dual-wield, then make him a monk so he can "dual-wield" his fists for tons of damage. At least, that's what I did in Final Fantasy Tactics.
The lame thing about Hamedo, even though it's good, is that it works less often than Counter, and by the time you get it, everything you fight will be using magic or non-physical attacks... or ranged attacks. The Samurai's Blade Grasp becomes much better than it (because it works on Guns, for some reason. I guess you catch bullets). A Ninja with a Main-Gauche and Blade Grasp and a good Mantle is probably one of the hardest things to hit, ever.
Who am I kidding, that's way too much work. I have a white one though, I do plan to remove the clear plastic 'protective' exterior and do some custom artwork on the white exterior with a series of Sharpies, then replace the clear plastic so it won't get smudged.
It's not a paperweight, it's a feature.

Heh, I remember the good old days of FF:T.
I also had the main character a knight, and learn both teleport ability, and the dual wield(called "Two weapons" back then) ability. I also gave the monk the "Two weapons" ability, so they could punch twice.
Teleporting, ninja knight was awesome.
Gorge, I love the customization aspects of FF:T, makes me want to play it again, but unfortunately I no longer have a PS1 memory card(<i>I want to play Xenogears again too</i>).
Back on topic, I guess you should just pick what color you like the most, but if you say "I think all colors look nice" just roll a dice and pick whichever one.
<b>I prefer black. If it gets dirty, you won't notice.</b> White on the other hand, when that gets dirty, you'll definitely notice.

See, theres a problem with your logic:
The plastic Nintendo uses for their Lites is a lot better than a scratchy iPod's. I've gotten all kinds of stuff on it, ran it against things accidentally, dropped it, everything- no scratches, and whatever uncleanliness it had, I wipe off real fast, and tahdah, good as new. Every time.
The rest of it, definitely. No scratches, no junk, looks just as good as it did when I bought it. And that includes dropping it onto asphalt once, which amazed me.
Cough, anyways, I have a black iPod Mini, and while it's harder to see stains, it's easier to see smudges. So it's a double-edged sword.
I <3 my DS phat. I'm thinking of picking up a lite at some point.
The best thing you can get with your DS is a superkey and supercard. I've got MONKEY ISLAND I and II, nethack and linux on my DS at the moment. Glorious.

Best bit? Because it's the runup to xmas, the shops are heaving, and I managed to skip a 25 minute long queue ^^
Fast pay machines ftw
2 main reasons:
1, they let you skip the queue, unless there's a sodding great queue for them, which there never is, because so very few people actually use them.
2, they don't keep asking you if you want a warranty/argos store card/credit card/accidental damage cover/ etc, etc, etc... >_<
