    I think I'm getting esuna confused with allurhive. Allurhive is the fat guy who looks like he hasn't seen a shower in 8 months, yeah?

    Edit: No, allurhive is just some weird nerdy-looking guy. Esuna is the fat one in one photo, but some skinny emo in this one. Are you sure this is esuna?

    I'd give metal more chances, but every time I hear a song, I get the impression that I'm supposed to be in awe of either the sound or their musicianship, but neither is very good usually. And when they are, then its too simplistic for my taste. Now yeah, emo is pretty effin' simplistic, but then again I'm comparing bands here to complicated stuff like mostly Prog(I wouldn't call myself emo lovin, as much as a progressive lover. <3). When you can have the beauty of huge, flowing ensembles that show off both musicianship and general sound with tone and subject, its hard to not be completely enthralled, at least for me.

    Listen to Blind Guardian - Fly. It's epic metal, not heavy metal, so it should be easier to get into from a different angle.

    Getting into Blind Guardian seems to work from going from most recent into their earlier work. Depends on the person.
