-Aliens-
Some sort of alien that can use marine models as meat puppets. Please. Model hits floor, bacteria infects it, aliens can control it? (Im a big facehugger fan, please understand my plea!)
-PLAYERS AND GAMEPLAY-
I watched this feature occur in the mmorpg, "aion. Tower of eternity".
Each several days, months, whatever, two warring races of angels and demons(players) would fight. BUT, when a certain limit or rather the balance was not perfect between the teams( 10 angels vs 50 demons), a NPC would fill that gap if needed with dragons.
How does this concern NS2?
Say... 6 players join marines. 4 join aliens. 2 NPC aliens could join, with several options(maintain hive, heal, attack, ect) and could be controlled through that system by the hive mind AI. When a player wants to join a team, he still has to join the aliens until its even. But the npc would be kicked in place of the player.
And vice versa. However, I dont know how you would build marine npc's....Maybe more RTS style and the commander could use them as extra firepower?
