There any way to improve the sound quality of my microphone?

Used Teamspeak and Ventrillo plenty
But in NS I constantly get complaints about how bad I sound over the microphone.

Is there anyway to improve this?

Also is there any way to raise the ingame microphone inbound and outbound volume?

In your volume controls, make sure to turn microphone boost on if it is available. You'll probably have to go through options->properties, enable the microphone slider from there. Then enable advanced controls. At that point you should be able to see the advanced button under the microphone slider in the main volume controls.

Inbound volume: voice_scale in console, setting it higher will make everyone's mic volume louder, setting it to 0 mutes everybody.

I'm not aware of the outbound console command, but you can boost it in options to maximum.

Make sure you're not eating your microphone. Set voice_loopback to 1 in your console and talk so you can hear how you sound.
