Dynamic Infestation

<div class="IPBDescription">Infestation claims destroyed marine buildings</div>In NS2, I'd like to see infestations dynamically overtake and destruct marine buildings after they have received enough damage from aliens.

The backstory is that bacteria is deposited by attacking aliens, which fights the marine's nanites on a microscopic scale. Once the aliens have done enough damage (i.e. deposited enough bacteria), the nanites lose, and you get to see an animation of the infestation overtaking and making the structure crumple before disappearing.

This is very similar to <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99037" target="_blank">this</a> NS2 I&S thread where this happens with corpses, but no one there seems to have mentioned structures.

I got this idea from <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=99695" target="_blank">this</a> NS Customzation thread where DC Darkling posted map models displaying an infestation overtaking and crumpling a marine structure. Take a look to get a good visual of what I'm suggesting.

    worst idea infestation Destroy ANYTHING. MArines attack, and PLACE buildings, and siege, IN the investation. this is the reason, why i wanna NOT destroy the ANY buildings.

    i get what your saying snappy and i like it

    i mean sure why not

    your kill the phase gate you stop the rush the TF is down com has clicked recycle on every thing bacterium should consume it

    the nanites are out of there called back to base and new locations those structures of steal and other minarals are free for the picking they are just new frames for the bacterium to grow over any ways.
