<div class="IPBDescription">Which have been your favorites, over the years?</div>i hadn't thought about this much at all until recently. there are often tv shows that have great intros...

obviously the greatest intro in current TV is that of <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbse8TzSoOI" target="_blank">Metalocalypse</a>.

i'm trying to remember other great intros.. ooh yeah, <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j_N8D_nJlp4" target="_blank">Quantum Leap!</a>

    Aqua Teen Hunger Force has a hilarious intro, pretty much just because it has almost nothing at all to do with the show.

    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=utEIfMgQ0-w" target="_blank">The Racoons</a>... the way it's introduced by a kindly story-teller voice makes it feel less like a series and more like a movie. Good stuff :D

    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ijzFH-KA7o" target="_blank">The Dreamstone</a>... pretty music coupled with a fairytale entry sequence.

    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1c1G24GWDg" target="_blank">Jace and the Wheeled Warriors</a>... funky music and I like the way it's done :p

    <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zj55mHD2Pes" target="_blank">Pole Position</a>... I like this purely for the music I guess XD

    Super.

    And of course <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wb5918H5nK8" target="_blank">Star Trek</a> deserves a mention. <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHgT7vbww6s" target="_blank">Eureka's intro</a> is quirky, catchy, and well designed. I like the old (Seasons 1 and 2) Veronica Mars intro but I can't find it online.

It was voted one of the 'darkest' cartoon shows of all time some place. Not to be confused with the other Sonic the Hedgehog which was craptastically drawn, but still cool because it was 'Sonic'.

    <a href="http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/220-animaniacs/" target="_blank">Animaniacs</a> was also pretty good. Both of those shows were pretty short lived though. There wasn't really much that stayed on air very long. Heck, one of the most famous ones (<a href="http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/14-he-man-and-the-masters-of-the-universe/" target="_blank">He-Man</a>) only had two seasons. I'd include the Super Mario Brothers' Super Show, but I only saw it 2 or 3 times on air (...much like He-Man).

    dawn of war, great choice... one of the best game intros in years. have you seen the trailer for warhammer mark of chaos? amazing.

    OMG there are some fantastic ones in there. I used to love Knightrider & The Racoons, and I remember the Dreamstone and Wheeled Warriors also.


    Lets take these intro links into the dark side a little. Here are some Jam intros. (Jam is a british sketch show masterminded by Chris Morris, the guy who did Brass Eye, The Day Today, Nathan Barley, The IT Crowd, and that internet 'Bushwhacked' video of an edited george bush speech resulting in him saying things like "we need to offer every child in america 3 nuclear missles".

    Jam is disturbing, funny, and just...weird. Music by Warp Records (Aphex Twin, Squarepusher, Amon Tobin, etc)

    Yeah, Animaniacs, Gargoyles, Knight Rider and Exo Squad are all greats.

    I love the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zU2awTrEdN0" target="_blank">House</a> intro. As well as the <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a2ll8swEeX0" target="_blank">Brood Wars</a> intro. As well as the intro for the movie Antitrust, although I can't find a suitable video.
