Heavy armor, current heavy armor.
Mid armor would be a steppoint between heavy and light. No speed reduction, but only immune to spores for a short time (maybe 30 seconds of air?)
Powered armor... hehehe... Mid armor does sound like armor upgrade 2 or 3.

I'd recommend 2-3 seconds, tops. Kind of pointless though.
