what is cl.dlls/client.dll..

<div class="IPBDescription">can one of you guys help me?</div>i start NS from Steam and find the server.. once i join any server.. it kept showing

"you dll [cl.dlls/client.dll] from the server"

how to fix this? can someone kind enough to explain this

    It means your version of NS differs from the servers version. Try updating your NS to the latest version.

    Just to clarify, the client.dll file you're talking about tells the server what version of NS you're running at any one time.
    When they update NS, they also update the client.dll file to the new version number. Your NS is either out of date (the most likely reason), or the client.dll file is corrupt.

    I crashed from a server and when I want to rejoin I get that message. I just played on the server how can I change version mid-fight?

    Do you have two instances of NS installed (3.1 and 3.2 maybe?)? Because when I had both 3.1 and 3.2 installed, and I tried to join a 3.2 server through steam's favorite server window, steam would open up NS 3.1 while trying to join a 3.2 server, and would give me the client.dll error. make sure this isnt happening to you
