    The faces of the tentacles fo right through the faces of the main blob-part, without any connection :/

    And the whole form doesn't match the reference at all. OK it is round and it has tentacles, but proportions and shape of the blob are very VERY wrong <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif' /><!--endemo-->

    well professor, what would you suggest i do? is there a magical fixall button i am not seeing in milkshape?

    Notice how the red outline completely differs from the model while the blue parts don't even exist. And compare the relations between the teal lines, too.

    well notice how the ref is a 2demensional object, and notice how it is at a random rotational degree. there are those tube things coming out that make it seem wider in some parts than others. also notice how since there is stuff on the top of my model, but nothing on the bottom. this would allude to the fact that i am working from the top -> down. you said many things but in the end it was all about how the bottom half widens out, and i plan on doing that. in fact i already have done it. i also plan on making those tubes. also notice how that picture that go0py posted is kickass.

    I wrote about what you showed here not "what you ahve in mind". So heres another comparison shot of what you did until now. Also notice that your blob's bottom is flat while the SC one isn't , which isn't marked

    i mainly made the base flat because thats what im used to. i usually start at the top and work down also, so when i get there it will be fixed.

    Here is another comparison shot: Red line shows how round and how much up the upper "sphere end" of the blob/ref go. Blue line shows that angle of the tentacle's bases.

    well the reason i put 12 is i think it looks better, also thats just the way it fit symetrically. if its really a huge deal to anyone i can fix it, but i would have to completely start over, to fix the amount of slices in the body.

    also i have been toying with a tube idea, what does everyone think of this. wanna see everyones opinion befor i go all the way around.
