Comments
Readme reports some high sysreqs too, for how boring the game itself is.
Edit: Still a nifty piece of software.
Am I reading that rightly? 14 ghz !?

Probably that period is misplaced... 1.4Ghz is more likely.
Most of the textures are generated during the load hence the low size and hefty load times =/
Edit: 1337th post woot
It doesn't download anything while you run it.
I could fit this game onto my TI-83 calculator. How cool would that be.
And as to the game, yes *everything* fits under 100kb. All textures are *generated* at runtime, the music is mixed from tracks (it include a music synthesizer), and indeed the entire engine is there (AI, rendering, collision detection, models meshes generated from primitives). All for under 100kb. All I can say, cool fukking beans!.
One representative screenie:

Runs as smooth as Tenebrae runs while drunk (which is not very smooth), but Tenebrae isn't even 96kb.
*applause*(some mod correct that spelling for me)

I feel the love Nem.
And yeah, Inf is right. This is friggin incredible. Dynamic Lighting, Bump Mapping, detailed maps and monsters...this is engineering at man's best.

nah - that'd probably be the Golden Gate Bridge or something like that. Or maybe the Great Pyramids....
Ooh! The St. Louis Arch!
Hehee, that comment made me lol .
But 96kb is quite amazing, even OLD games take more hd space. You can fit 14 games like this on one floppy . Too bad it's windows only, would've wanted try it out =.- .
Yeah and I agree about the slashdot thing
And I have a high end pc...
Not too long.. The AI is rubish. Didn't get hit once..
I guess they forgot to include the 4kb of not crappy ai so they could have a "game in 100kb"

This is by far the most inane, nit-picky statement I have ever read on the internet..
Dude your trying to find fault with a masterpiece of compression technology.
5 monsters
5 Weapons
Dynamic Lighting
Bump mapping
Music
Sound
'Save' system
Intro and title screen
1 map bigger and longer than most half-life sp levels in a single load
God knows how many textures
All for 96kb.
And you complain about the AI...
Seriously...
