BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Some guy on the Tribes2RPG forums was recommending NS to the other people on the tribes 2 forums. That struck me as ironic.

Tribes2 is awesome. Some people like Tribes1 more for whatever reason, I still like Tribes2 more.

PS : I am a dev team member on the <a href='http://www.planettribes.com/is' target='_blank'>Tribes2RPG mod</a> and posted in that NS topic docchimpy mentioned. <img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html//emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif' />

Erm...Starseige-Tribes is not running. I'm on Windows 2000, so do I need to disable something or somesuch?

EDIT: Great. Tribes 2 isn't running either. I'm getting a Mishandeled Exception c0000005 at Address 0bf66002. I love my computer. It runs EVERYTHING so well it's not even funny.

Hey, nice to see you! I used to play T1RPG a lot. It's really fun. You need to check out the latest version of T2RPG, it's really starting to come along. ASE is showing Tribes1 with 230 servers, 4500 players.

Yeah, in tribes one I was a top notch sniper (if you don't mind me floating my own boat ^^) and in tribes 2 I'm struggling to have my hands in the right spots and frantically trying to accomplish anything.

Oh I was a mortar **** in Tribes 2...it's just so complicated compared to what I play now it's overwhelming...I need to play Tribes 1, it's alltogether superior. STORMHAMMER!!!

Make sure the info you put in there is EXACTLY the same as the info in your profile.

Somehow I'm just starting to hate the whole product even before trying it. Can't get the flipping key and what's up with this crap that I can't determine the installation folder? It just starts installing it straight in to C:/blah blah, even though my C is reserved for other stuff than games.

So far not too impressive.

Well it doesn't advertise their new game if it takes you two hours and luck to get the older games working. I guess it wouldn't have been too hard to get rid of the key in the first place and give me an ability to install where ever I want? Now I'm screwed because I have only 600 megs free on C: and all my games are on another drive with several gigs of free space. THANKS A LOT!

Whoa, were you actually able to determine the installation folder? How? For me it just starts installing to C: without asking(which is more than annoying).

The hard part is getting it installed where you want it and getting the key.
