    I think it's actually the best idea ever for a different reason.

    By expanding their users by invitation only, they exactly control the growth rate of the beta service without letting users feel cheated for not knowing about the open beta sign-up as early as others.


    On a separate note, these guys still have a sense of humor... here's the message in my "All Mail" folder (basically the archive I think)...

    "You don't have any mail! Our servers are feeling unloved."

    and from the spam folder..

    "Hooray, no spam here!"

    Also doing a bit of asp programing i know a bit about webpages. i have a few suggestions to block cheaters without blocking people who are honestly playing.

    LOl am i bad? i'm borrowing an IP so i can contine playing. As odd as it may sound.

    Another wireless connection appeared on my list the other day as i was sat in bed, Nothing to strange you may think. This link was also encrypted, but tonight my wireless router crashed and with it being 2 in the morning i cant be arsed going into the loft to hit it. So i noticed the encryption had been taken off again. So i poked my connect button expecting someother kind of protection, but no. So i have a brand spanking new IP address coz someone near me is a nubble and didnt re-encrypt their link. Nobody else is using the connection tho, i check in the network connections list.

    Ahh well, time to continue playing........

    P.S. Soon as i reset my router i'm not planning to use the link again. Oh and its broadband so they aint paying for me to use the link.


    EDIT: Oh no. im gonna have to find these poor people and warn them. Everything in their has no password lock.     Theres no way to stop cheating IMO. Anyone can use a macro that enters a random number and waits a random period before submitting, and just have it loop. What you really want to do is an appet/flash that moves the submit button to a random position on the screen.

    well i submitted ideas on how to help stop the cheating... One of the ideas would have stoped your idea from working.
