well, this wont be used because the artist of the concept doesnt like the style(mostly the grip grooves), and he asked me to post it here to see if people liked it. well, here it is.

Comments
1. no vents on top
2. side vents aren't attractively done
3. grip doesn't look comfortable, and isn't practical
I like the model, however, because :
1. good proportions
2. ejection port is done
3. good length on stock
what does everyone else think. I think i'm choosing between this model and mephmage's.
EDIT: also, i have the regular grip done in another file, is all a matter of exporting/importing the missing parts, and it will be done
EDIT2: just noticed there is a cylinder on the back sight..... wonder why... anyway, it wont be there, dont worry
1 of the best based on fox's con ive seen so far keep it up !
is this what you want?
but well, is his choice, if he wants the old plain grip, thats fine with me.
i think venting like this looks better--> what do you think?
i doublt i'll finish it due to the fact that it wont be used.
it is very high poly because of all te grooves on the slide and the grip. i tried to keep the poly count to a minimum.

hooold on.. what about the vent on the top? didn't you think that was cool? a veont on top would look cool in game. It's up to you though.
i was thinking something like this-->
i was just messing around with it and it will add a LOT of polys to the model, yet it wont really be seen do to the angle the gun will be held you wont be able to see inside that vent. it sure adds more detail to the gun but it wont be seen at all(i mean the things on the barrel)
Also look here for details of that kind of barrel. Not exactly the same as a Glock, but the idea is the same. The vents are elevated. The barrel doesn't have to move.
Nor does it have to be a lot of polies. The elevation can be as simple as the one on the barrel on the SVI I released long ago, in another age. The vents can be simply textured and don't need to be modeled.
The SVI's original download's still available. Don't know if Jim's version with NS arms is. If anyone still wants it, it'll have to be updated by someone other than me. I haven't done any of this in a while.
