Yea, In my multimedia class, My group of 3 is making a video about a meditating driver, Fidel Castro and his sisters non communist son who says everything in a sarcastic tone, unless he is being sarcastic, in which case he sounds serious (His name is Sarcastro) And me, a member of the American Communist Party on my way to the commnist national convention.

The thing is... WTH does a communist wear to the communist national converntion? Give me suggestions and I may reward you with a semi funny video in a couple of weeks

But see, I want to be steriotypically communist... I realize that most communists are normal people (cept CWAG), but I want people to look at me and say "Wow, he's a communist" before I even say a word.

A T shirt that says "I heart stalin"?

Frankly if you just wanted to make sure we know he's a communist, just go get one of those tishirts with Che Guevara on it.

Something with hammers and sickle motifs on. And attachments to allow the wearer to hang real hammer and sickles from.

I gave my friend my field jacket, and my cover. Went to the store and bought him a big cigar.

We knew he would look like Fidel Castro, but we had no idea how close of a match it was.

A Greatcoat or a Trenchcoat with a big fluffy hat. (Perferrably with a red star on it. If not, use paper, colour it red, cut it out and tape it to the hat).

Get a fake beard or use a shapie to draw one on your face, then talk in a deep russian accent!

Trenchcoats are your friend, they make anyone look slightly sinister and mysterious at the same time. With the collar turned up.

Failing that, a shirt with "I <3 communism" on it as suggested above would be at least worth a chuckle.

Let's say I tell you to bring a bike, and not a car. Does that make a banana a car? No, but that's the same fuzzy logic you used.

You really can't go wrong with a red star on a monochrome trenchcoat. For the stereotypical communist that is. If you look at photos from Comintern meetings or Party Congresses most people there are simply wearing suits. If it wasn't for the giant portraits of Marx, Lenin or Mao they're quite hard to distinguish from any other convention.

An exception to the rule is Castro though, he tends to wear military fatigues quite a lot.

There is a substantial differance between Communist and Fascist ideology.

However the Bolshevik party in Russia was only initially a Communist party and came to power not through a popular revolution but through a military coup. They then fought a bloody civil war to stay in power and ended up ruling Russia as a military dictatorship that used terror and intimidation to reign without popular support. The Bolshevik party sacrificed almost every Socialist ideal in the name of maintaining their position of power. They were Communists in name only.

Hence there was little differance between Nazi Germany and Bolshevik Russia. But had Russia actually been a socialist state, there would have been a major differance.
